The Astronomia continues to play an essential role in Jacob & Co.’s collection of high-end luxury timepieces, first launched in 2019 with a rotating triple-axis tourbillon. With countless renditions designed to reflect the watchmaker’s innovative design process, Jacob & Co. is proud to bet big at the roulette table for its most recent release. The all-new Jacob & Co. Astonomia Casino Tourbillon takes inspiration from the original Roulette timepiece, with dimensions, shape, movement, and construction entirely new and dedicated to this specific piece. The Casino Tourbillon’s 44mm case design is crafted from 18k rose gold with a matching pusher to operate its spinning roulette wheelhead.
With an elegant gloss black time-only dial staged in the center, a small-scale roulette wheelhead surrounds the outside with an accurate casino-inspired layout. Meanwhile, a white ceramic ball bounces inside the Casino Tourbillon. Jacob & Co. fits the newly redesigned Casino with an entirely new JCAM51 movement, with a comfortable and weekend-in-Vegas-proof power reserve of 72 hours. Its covered 18k rose gold backcase features a small window opening into its flying tourbillon that reads “Jacob & Co.” in roulette font. Limited to only 101 pieces worldwide, the new Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon is currently available for $280,000.
