Exploring modern horology outside the box of traditional watchmaking, Max Büsser and MB&F continue to evolve their collection of luxury timepieces while honoring the models that helped to pave the way for the brand. The Horological Machine HM9 first shocked the watch industry in 2018 with its abnormal case shape, inspired by early automotive and aeronautic designs of the 40s and 50s. Now 5 years later, MB&F is proud to expand the Horological Machine N° 9 Collection with the release of the all-new HM9-SV ‘Sapphire Vision’ editions. The 47mm case is reimagined using a sapphire crystal shell secured with an 18k white, yellow, or red gold frame. Depending on the choice of precious metal, the dial construction on the MB&F HM9-SV varies between Green and Blue shades.
The sapphire case reveals a 360-degree view of MB&F’s in-house manual-winding movement, which operates using two fully independent balance wheels with planetary differential. Along with a clear view of its inner workings, the HM9-SV’s backcase also features engravings that signify the ultra-exclusive 5-piece release of each variation. MB&F incorporates an elegant touch by fitting its newest limited-edition example on hand-stitched brown or black alligator straps with metal-matching folding buckles. The all-new MB&F Horological Machine N° 9 Sapphire Vision Collection is currently available through authorized dealers for $490,000.
