Omega celebrates the moonwatch with two new gold variations.

As we begin the special portion of the year when watch manufacturers showcase their new releases, watchmakers like Omega present exquisite new variations of the historic models that help shape the brand. Omega is proud to unveil its all-new 2022 Novelties Collection featuring an array of different models and designs that have their own stories to tell. In addition to the countless new Seamaster models included in the release, Omega is happy to highlight the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional in two special configurations. Having been a part of all six moon landings, the legendary chronograph is an impressive representation of the brand’s pioneering spirit. The new Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional models take on a 42mm 18k Moonshine Gold case design with availability to choose between a Green or Gold/Black configuration. Beneath its color-matched rotating bezel, the chronograph-style dial layout showcases Omega’s functions for tracking and measuring intricate time intervals.

The new Speedmaster Professional models are driven by Omega’s in-house Caliber 3861 chronograph movement with Co-Axial escapement, which provides a lengthy 50-hour power reserve from the manual-winding mechanism. Each variation includes a transparent backcase that allows for a closer look at the inner workings of the watch. Continuing to add to the versatility and functionality of the moonwatch, Omega adds the option to choose between a matching 18k Moonshine Gold bracelet or a black rubber strap with texturized moon surface finish on the inlay. The all-new Omega Speedmaster Professional models are now available through an authorized dealer starting at $26,400. Check back into duPont REGISTRY Daily for more luxury watch news and releases.
