Richard Mille is back with a new Tourbillon model!

At the height of haute horology sits the ever-popular Tourbillon, using complex physics to help engineer the watch world’s most precise timekeeping technique. It’s an area of expertise that Richard Mille and its team of watchmakers know all too well, showcasing ultra-exclusive models that soar well into the seven-figure price range. Richard Mille is paying homage to tradition and excellence by releasing its all-new RM 17-02 Manual Winding Tourbillon, limited to only 30 pieces worldwide. The RM 17-02 takes on a lightweight look and feel thanks to a case crafted completely from White Quartz TPT, a composite material made of hundreds of layers of quartz fibers stacked in alternating directions on top of each other.

Beauty and contrast lie inside Richard Mille’s skeleton dial, displaying a complex mechanism made from space-age materials like blue grade 5 titanium. Vibrant gold numerics and white indicators are etched into its crystal sapphire for better readability and an extra punch of color. The brains behind this new model take shape as Richard Mille’s in-house Caliber RM17-02, a manual winding tourbillon movement with hours, minutes, power reserve (70 hours), and function indicators. A transparent crystal backcase offers a secondary view of the movement in action, with commemorative engravings honoring its limited production run. Fit on a comfortable black rubber strap with a magnetized folding buckle, the RM 17-02’s interchangeable strap system allows you to easily swap between other bands and colors.
