Porsche continues to prove itself as an industry leader on and off the track with its fleet of performance-focused vehicles, while also dedicating efforts towards its lifestyle collection through the Porsche Design division. Porsche Design is proud to announce the release of its newest addition to its timepiece collection, the 1919 Globetimer UTC featuring a stealth-like titanium black design. The 1919 Globetimer UTC is presented in a 42mm case crafted from titanium with a black PVD coating. The dial layout includes a date scale on the inner ring with a 24-hour scale on the outer portion to compliment the minute, hour, and central second display functions. Delivering power to the 1919 Globetimer UTC is Porsche Design’s in-house WERK 04.110 movement, which provides a lengthy 38-hour power receiver for the traveling collector in mind. The backcase design layout features a time scale to indicate major world cities and their appropriate time adjustments. The 1919 Globetimer UTC is designed to be a universal watch and to ensure comfort, Porsche Design adds a Porsche Vehicle Leather strap with decorative stitching in black thread.
