Before we had the ability to easily tell time and the date on watches, phones, clock, etc., we had to look to the sun and stars. URWERK has an entire collection of watches that they note is dedicated to “our spinning journey around the sun.” The new UR-100 GunMetal is URWERK’s new addition to this collection. This new watch has a number of features that are dedicated to Earth’s journey around the sun. For example, when the minutes hand has completed its 60-minute journey, it will reappear on a 20-minute scale of 555 milometers. Why so specific?
