They say that all good things come in twos, which is especially right for luxury timepieces. The ingenious horologists at Urwerk Geneve pride themselves on creating complex watch designs that are mistaken for extraterrestrial tools. Urwerk is delighted to present a special edition set that includes two variations of the new UR-102 ‘Reloaded’. Originally introduced in 1997 at Baselword, the 102 collection stands out for the minimalistic style that sets it apart from other Urwerk timepieces. The case of the UR-102 Reloaded measures 41mm and is made in steel and titanium, showcasing both a matte titanium and black PVD finish.

A partially exposed dial is visible through a semi-circle sapphire crystal window, indicating wandering hours on a satin-brushed and engraved disc. Supplying power to the UR-102 Reloaded duo is Urwerk’s in-house 2.02 self-winding movement, which accurately controls its hour and minute functions. Adding its functional touch as an everyday watch, Urwerk fits the UR-102 on a comfortable Baltimore-quilt patterned rubber strap with a titanium pin buckle. The UR-102 “reloaded” is presented in a boxed set issued as a 25-piece limited edition and comprising the “Titanium” and “Black” versions for $62,000.
