The creative team at Amalgam is proud to continue its Ferrari Daytona SP3 exhibition by launching a 1:4 scale replica of the Italian hypercar’s complete engine and gearbox configuration. Just as its 1:8 scale of the hypercar itself, Amalgam is releasing the Daytona SP3 powertrain in a limited-edition production of only 599 units.
Amaglam achieves its high level of precision working with CAD data supplied directly from Ferrari, starting with a process of molds that ensures the correct scale for every individual part. The Daytona SP3 Engine and Gearbox required over 3,500 hours of development before Ferrari designers and engineers were fully satisfied to approve the exact replica of its power unit. Each of the 1:4 scale models measures over 17 inches long and 7 inches high, which takes 325 hours to cast, fit, fettle, paint, and assemble. The F140HC engine generates over 829 horsepower and launches the Daytona SP3 from 0-62mph in just 2.85 seconds. The all-new Amaglam Ferrari Daytona SP3 1:4 Scale Engine and Gearbox is currently available for $15,250.
