The longstanding fuel-driven partnership between Porsche and PUMA represents the perfect blend of automotive excellence and fashion innovation. Celebrating the legendary sports car manufacturer’s most iconic models, the collaboration has created a series of limited-edition apparel and footwear collections. Whether you’re a die-hard Porsche enthusiast or simply admire the blend of performance and style, this unique collaboration offers a thrilling intersection of two worlds where art meets acceleration. Joining forces for yet another anticipated release, Porsche x PUMA are proud to announce two new sneakers that commemorate the new Porsche 911 S/T and historic 1972 Porsche 911 S 2.5.
The collection introduces the Heritage Sneaker to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Porsche 911. The modern, sporty design of this limited-edition footwear is directly inspired by the new Porsche 911 S/T, incorporating distinctive features that pay homage to the legendary sports car. The grey smooth leather reflects the exterior color of the anniversary car, while the cognac-brown tone of the interior is mirrored in the shoe lining. Specific elements such as the starting number 63 (referencing the year the Porsche 911 was first created) and Porsche lettering on the heel contribute to the sporty look. Among the two releases, the stylish Retro Sneaker draws inspiration from the slim and low silhouette of the Porsche 911 S 2.5 from 1972. It showcases a light blue color matching the historic car’s paintwork, suede overlays, and red stitching to complete the retro look. The sneakers are limited to 1,972 examples, with the 911’s 60s-style round grille badge adorning the tongue and leather tag.
