Offering a supercharger upgrade, Hennessey managed to improve the performance of the 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 to 850 horsepower for blistering speed around Hennessey’s own Pennzoil Proving Grounds.

Out on the track, the engine is able to fearsomely roar to life, and with a manual transmission, the driver is able to feel the immense 850 horsepower in the purest way possible. The 3-liter supercharger turns the already-incredible car into an entirely different machine. Based on the GT350R in the example in this video, suspension and aerodynamics are improved over the standard GT350, as well as the weight with special carbon-fiber wheels. As Ford has revealed the new generation of the Mustang, Hennessey proves that the outgoing generation still has plenty of thrilling performance potential with the 850-horsepower supercharger upgrade package available for the GT350 and GT350R.
