The Aston Martin DB11 was revealed as “the most powerful, most efficient and most dynamically gifted DB model in Aston Martin’s history.” That’s quite an accomplishment considering the impact the DB series has had on the automotive world. It comes powered by a relatively smaller 5.2-liter V12 engine that has a twin-turbo installing in place, which is good for 600 bhp and a 0-60 mph time of 3.9 seconds. Inside the cabin is an interior that’s as lavish as you’d expect from a luxury performance automaker.

So, the DB11 is quick and luxurious, but does it meet the hype?
Drive.com.au’s Andrew MacLean had a chance to drive an example of the car and was impressed with the results. At the end of his drive he noted that the car “feels like a significant generational leap ahead” for the Aston Martin brand.
