When we tested the Aston Martin DBX707 for the first time last year, we found that it achieved practically all its ambitious goals. It was a rowdy 697-horsepower family hauler with stellar looks that delivered plenty of thrills. However, the one thing that held it back was, without a doubt, its interior. Flash forward 12 months, and the British carmaker just unveiled the refreshed 2025 Aston Martin DBX707 with not just a subtly updated interior but a genuinely redesigned cabin. Positioned as the brand’s only SUV offering moving forward, the 707 is gunning for the luxury SUV world’s top spot.
At first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the DBX’s exterior remains unchanged because it mostly does. Look closely, and you’ll see the SUV get AM’s redesigned badge, presenting door handles, and a new side view mirror design incorporated to improve the capabilities of this SUV’s driver assistance systems.
Five new shades join the 2025 Aston Martin DBX707’s color palette: Epsilon Black, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, Malachite Green, and Aura Green. While its available wheel designs remain unchanged, you can now opt for a Satin Black finish on the 23-inch Fortis wheel and Copper Bronze on the 23-inch Forged wheel.
Inside is where the 2025 Aston Martin DBX707 gets the most significant updates, gaining a DB12-inspired cabin with updated tech, new materials, and more standard equipment. The cabin’s layout has changed significantly, now embedding a 12.3-inch screen to serve as its instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central screen to house AM’s all-new infotainment system. The system no longer relies on an outdated Mercedes-Benz system and offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Alongside plenty of USB-C connections, the DBX’s new tech connects directly with Aston Martin’s mobile app. To complement these upgrades, Aston Martin now includes its 800-watt 14-speaker premium audio system as standard on the 707.
Like the DB12, the 2025 Aston Martin DBX707 benefits from a redesigned steering wheel with added functionality and an updated center console that thankfully prioritizes using physical buttons for key features. This cabin’s transformation is complete with subtle details such as new door handles and vertically oriented air vents. To showcase these new elements, Aston Martin purposely enlarged the veneer panels on the doors so a wider variety of available materials could be customized. Aston Martin plans to offer three interior trims: Inspire Comfort, Inspire Sport, and Accelerate with Alcantara, each designed to morph the cabin’s vibe with various materials, not unlike the previous DBX707.
The centerpiece of the 2025 Aston Martin DBX707, its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 remains untouched. It still develops the same 697-hp output; thus, expect this SUV’s acceleration performance to stay the same. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, given that it should still scoot to 60 mph in around 3.1 seconds. The British carmaker updated this SUV’s dampers with new software to improve its handling dynamics further.
Aston Martin expects the DBX707 to enter production in Q2 of 2024 and deliveries to begin in the same quarter.
