Audi’s new sports car concept comes to London.
Audi is missing a sports car, and the gap that the R8 and the TT left behind when they were discontinued is a significant one. However, Audi may have an answer, as a new concept car has emerged that is said to preview an upcoming all-electric sports car. That is the Concept C, and featuring clean, minimalist design and elegant proportions, the Concept C proposes a balance between the futurism of electric cars and the classic driving joy of many of Audi’s past icons like the Quattro, the TT, and the R8, all of which have been cited as inspirations for the Concept C.
After its original unveiling, the Audi Concept C has become a street-legal prototype, and Audi has teased that a production car that is inspired by it is underway. Building up even more hype for a new Audi sports car, the Concept C was showcased in London at an exclusive event, showing off the roadster and its apparent influence on the future of Audi’s design philosophy.
The stunning design of the coupe, featuring a minimalist silhouette, a titanium-inspired color, and an interior finished with luxurious, tactile materials and solutions, previews an Audi sports car that blends performance, luxury, beauty, and pure driving pleasure, all while highlighting the cutting-edge innovation of an all-electric powertrain. As the new Concept arrives in London, even more anticipation is building for the next chapter of Audi sports cars.
