The driving force behind the Audi E-tron was their quest for excellence. It is a popular and capable crossover. Sharing technology between their cousins at Porsche and friends at Rimac is how Audi is planning 20 EV models by 2025. In a press release this morning, we learned it will start with four all-new chassis.
Starting with the upcoming E-tron Sportback, engineers and designers have agreed on a few common aspects. First, they will share the same 800-volt architecture that be charged at home or at the Porsche/Audi spots at Electrify America’s expanding network.
