McLaren x Nat Bowen Unveil New MSO 750S "Project Chromology"

McLaren’s latest MSO project combines supercar excellence with bold artistry. McLaren’s MSO, or McLaren Special Operations department, specializes in adding bespoke touches and one-of-a-kind flair to the historic, motorsport-derived manufacturer’s lineup, transforming lightweight, powerful, and gorgeous supercars into unique statements of automotive excellence and collector-worthy masterpieces. The latest project to emerge from MSO is Project Chromology, which isn’t just any MSO project, but a bespoke McLaren 750S created in collaboration with renowned British abstract artist Nat Bowen. Known for exploring the psychology of color through her resin-based works, Nat Bowen’s art is full of unabashed, bold color, which was translated in the supercar when MSO and Nat Bowen came together for Project Chromology. Debuting as part of the ongoing Miami Art Week festivities, Project Chromology features a new, innovative layered paint finish, the MSO Chromatic Layered Finish, on its unique exterior. In a first for McLaren, the exterior features a shifting depth and tone, a raised texture, and a dynamism that can be both seen and felt throughout. A select group of clients will have the opportunity to own Project Chromology McLaren 750S examples, and each unique commission will feature a color palette curated with Bowen’s artistic themes as inspiration. In addition, the car will feature hallmarked 24-karat gold-plated badging in a first for MSO. Combining bespoke luxury, artful, unique design, painstaking craftsmanship, innovative techniques, and, of course, the supercar performance excellence of the new McLaren 750S, the new Project Chromology from MSO is a combination of McLaren’s automotive excellence and Nat Bowen’s artistry.
