One-of-One Full TechArt Porsche 911.2 GTS

TAG Motorsports knows their way around a TECHART body, as they are one of the aftermarket company's authorized dealers in the United States. TAG Motorsports' recent TECHART project involved a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, which is what they consider to be one of the finest in Porsche's lineup. The project started with a 911 Carrera GTS painted in Chalk, one of my personal favorites when it comes to Porsche colors. Options that were ordered included red dials, red seat belts and interior trim in the Chalk finish. Each of the options was picked to blend harmoniously with the TECHART catalog they were ordering for the project. Below is the full list of modifications ordered for the Porsche.Modification list:- TechArt Front Aero Lip Spoiler (New for GTS)- TechArt Side skirts- TechArt Rear Diffuser (For PSE Exhaust)- TechArt Rear Air Trim- TechArt Roof Spoiler- TechArt Type II Rear Wing- TechArt Front Air Outlet Trim- TechArt Headlight Surrounds- 20x9 & 20x12 Centerlock Formula IV Wheels (custom painted in gloss black)- TechArt Center lock caps (new and now available in black)- TechArt hood emblem- TechArt Floor Mats with chalk piping- Pedal set including dead pedal- TechArt Steering Wheel with Chalk Stitching, Chalk Painted Accents, Alcantara Sides, Red 12 O’clock Stripe & Mode Selector- TechArt Quad Tip Valved Exhaust System with Carbon Tips- TechArt Lowering SpringsAdditional Modifications included:- 245/35/20 & 305/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires- Rennline Front Mesh Grill Kit- AWE Tuning Hi-Flow Cats- AWE Tuning Wind foils- TAG Custom painted Porsche keyAfter matching the new kit with the original Chalk paint, it was time to assemble. Because TAG Motorsports' technicians are quite familiar with TECHART products, the entire build was finished in under a week. After that, they sent the car to Gabriel Milori for an incredible photoshoot, seen in this article.

Genovation GXE: Your Electric Corvette Has Arrived

Electric vehicle technology is advancing by leaps and bounds. You can't deny the appeal of not using gasoline, so Genovation has unveiled an all-electric Chevrolet Corvette. They had an amazing display next to our booth at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, so our team found themselves bewildered by the car. It is based on a late-model Z06, except instead of the supercharged V8, it has two AC motors fed by 800 volts. Most production electric cars are based on a 400-volt system, so doubling the voltage allows for lighter components and more efficient power delivery. This all adds up to a cruising range of 175 miles and a top speed over 200 mph. This is achieved by retaining the stock Corvette 7-speed manual or the 8-speed automatic transmission. Electric motors don't need gear reduction, but the Corvette's gearbox is part of the rear suspension, and it allows the engine rpm to be optimized to a lower operating RPM.High-Speed Aerodynamic Testing with Johnny Bohmer RacingWe first encountered their C6 test car at Johny Bohmer's proving grounds. NASA has basically turned over the Shuttle Landing Facility to him, and it is perfect for high-speed testing. The conversion starts at $750,000 which doesn't include your donor car. It involves a complete disassembly to treat the interior to full Aniline leather and a Harmon/Kardon audio system. Every component from the DC inverters to the turn signals is integrated into a new Can-Bus, with all system information available via BlueTooth and WiFi. No detail was too small, and the LED body accent lighting will show the battery's level of charge by the color it emits as you approach the car. The process is available for any Stingray back to 2014, and only 75 cars will be produced. Wide-Body Ford F-150 is On the Way

The Ford F-150 prides itself on being capable and practical, but TRA Kyoto, the creator of Pandem and Rocket Bunny, has turned all of that in for some showmanship and one heck of a wide body. On the tuner's Facebook page are a series of renderings that include a wide-body Ford F-150 pickup truck. With wide fender flares, a lowered ride, new front fascia and more, this truck is definitely a standout.Ford Reveals First Ever Diesel F-150Interestingly enough, the rendered truck has off-road Toyo Tires and heavy-duty wheels even though there's no chance you'll be taking it off of the road with that kind of suspension. Also, it should be noted that the rendering does not include brake calipers-- I'm going to assume that was just a quick mistake. Even so, the real deal wide-body F-150 will be on display at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon (January 12-14).Ford GTs For Sale

Hennessey Tears Up Their Field with VelociRaptor Donuts

Some donuts are meant for eating, while others are meant for tearing up rubber. Or, in Hennessey Performance's case with their latest video, tearing up the field at their Proving Grounds. In the video, the Texas-based company takes their VelociRaptor truck out for some dirty donuts. The 600 horsepower truck creating the mayhem is packed with the Off-Road Stage 1 Package, which allows for such impeccable handling in the dirt. These tires are separated from the body by a an additional 3-inches, thanks to the Stage 1 Package's modifications. To learn everything that comes in the package, be sure to click the link below.
