Because rust is so prevalent on the original FJ models, ICON fabricates an all-new body of 5052-H32 aluminum. Since only the best will do, this expensive alloy body is powder coated inside and out, making it virtually indestructible.
A Chevrolet LS3 V8 and automatic transmission send power to Dana style Dynatrac axles. Working with Brembo, ICON has developed a big brake kit which utilizes hydroboost instead of vacuum assist. This allows for great feedback through the pedal, and no meddlesome ABS interruptions.
