The Czinger 21C is an incredibly unique hypercar. Its design and engineering employs cutting-edge tech like 3D printing and artificial intelligence to achieve unprecedented performance. The results are incredible: a hypercar powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a hybrid system producing 1,250 horsepower, and a two-seat configuration with the passenger seat sitting behind the driver’s seat.
Laying eyes on the groundbreaking hypercar makes it clear that modern aviation serves as a major inspiration for its design, with high speeds and precise aerodynamics being paramount requirements for the creation of spectacular and mezmerizing fighter jets, but a specific iconic aircraft serves as inspiration for the Czinger 21C’s latest edition: the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
The car is the Czinger 21C Blackbird Edition, unveiled at The Quail during the prestigious Monterey Car Week. The all-black spec in custom JET black paint of the Blackbird Edition reflects the same sleek and purposeful design of the reconnaissance aircraft, and complements exposed carbon fiber elements. Power is increased compared to the standard 21C by 100 horsepower, going from 1,250 horsepower to 1,350 horsepower, with a custom exhaust inspired by the aircraft’s afterburners. A custom Alcantara interior rounds is complemented by black leather accents, as well as “Afterburner Orange” backing under the perforations.
Displayed alongside the new Blackbird Edition is the Czinger 21C VMAX, unveiled originally at last year’s The Quail event during Monterey Car Week, and finished in a new Iceman Blue color. With the ability to break records at tracks like the iconic Laguna Seca and Circuit of the Americas, the new Czinger 21C Blackbird Edition shows airborne innovation landing in an incredibly futuristic hypercar.
