Summer 2021 Travel and Destinations

Presented by Jet It - This summer travelers are yearning to take their postponed vacations, celebrate rescheduled weddings, explore remote destinations, and get back to live events. According to a study conducted by travel company, Vacasa, 60% of summer travelers are embarking on their first getaway since the pandemic occurred. Many of these travelers are excited to create new experiences, but in Vacasa’s study, 40% of respondents stated their top travel priority is the people they’re traveling with, and another 41% stated they aren’t going to fly commercially for their trips. An alternative you can opt for is private travel, and one of the several beauties is the inherent reduction of touchpoints and contacts. Jet It, a hybrid fractional private aviation firm out of North Carolina, successfully navigated the challenges of keeping its passengers safe from exposure throughout the pandemic and saw a 300% increase in sales in Q3 and Q4 of 2020. One of the reasons travelers are flocking to Jet It is due to their more accessible, yet luxurious private travel service. Jet It offers hybrid fractional ownership and a days-based model where owners can travel on a brand new HondaJet Elite the entire day at only $1,600 per flight hour. If you’re itching to take a trip but haven’t solidified your plans, here are two destinations you can enjoy with friends and family this June. Sedona, Arizona For outdoor experiences, Sedona, AZ is packed with views, parks, and ample activities. A few notable locations are Antelope Canyon and Red Rock State Park (pictured). While June is a pretty hot month, the dry air allows for cooler temperatures at night, averaging about 96° during the day and 61° in the evening. Popular outdoor excursions include hiking, rock climbing, and guided ATV tours across the remote desert scenery. For live experiences, Florida Georgia Line is holding a concert in Camp Verde, AZ on June 12.This location is about a 45 minute drive from Sedona, AZ. If you are interested in a more intimate setting, you can head to Vino Di Sedona for excellent wine, dining, and music. The country and blues ensemble, Six String Society, will be playing on June 24. San Juan, Puerto Rico For outdoor experiences, you can bask in the gorgeous waters of San Juan, PR on a catamaran. You can take your family on mid-day picnic or go deep sea fishing with friends. If you are in San Juan on June 23, you can head to any beach and enjoy one of Puero Rico’s beloved cultural experiences, Noche de San Juan. This annual tradition is a spiritual experience where beachgoers take several plunges into the ocean shore at midnight to symbolize the release of negativity from their lives. For live experiences, you can head to the Cannon Club for the D’Esposo Music Festival from June 4 to June 6. Set inside an architectural beauty, the world’s best classical musicians will host an evening of piano, violin, flute, and cello. The New Arese RH95 Celebrates Touring Sueprleggera's 95th...

Touring Sueprleggera is celebrating its 95th anniversary with a new creation. The famous Italian styling house Touring Superleggera has just unveiled the new Arese RH95, a model that commemorates the company's 95th anniversary. Founded in 1926, the company has worked on countless vehicles with the most prestigious automakers. This new design, however, is their own creation and borrows touches from their previous creations. For example, the waistline was inspired by their award-winning Disco Volante and the air nostril was derived from their Aero 3. Underneath the Arese RH95 is a drive train from an unnamed exotic car that has a mid-engine layout. The Touring Arese RH95 will be debuted during the 2021 Salon Privé week this September. You Can Buy This Stunning Alpine A110 x Felipe Pantone Ar...

It looks fast even when it's parked. Felipe Pantone, an Argentinian artist, has unveiled the second collaboration between himself and Alpine. While their first collaboration was his artistic interpretation of Formula 1 with Alpine on a 1/2 scale model, this second one is a real car that you can buy. Felipe took his artistic abilities to four Alpine A110s, giving them a design that makes it look as though they are constantly in motion. “My idea regarding the work on the A110 is to evoke a sense of “ultradynamism”. Visual speed is something that I have been investigating for years now and I feel it really comes together on this car, emphasizing its brilliant design with a fast, technological look”, says Felipe Pantone. Of the four examples donning Felipe Panton's artwork, three of them will be for sale for 125,000 euros, which is about $153,000 USD. Alpine says that they will release information regarding how to purchase them in the future. Source: Alpine

McLaren Unveils Gulf Livery MSO 720S That Took 20 Days to...

Honoring the legendary Gulf-GTC team McLaren F1 GTR race cars. McLaren Automotive has just revealed an incredible 720S that has given an iconic appearance thanks to McLaren Special Operations (MSO). This example was given a hand-painted livery that honors the legendary Gulf-GTC team McLaren F1 GTR race cars. MSO was prompted to create the car after Gulf and McLaren joined forces in 2020 after a storied history between the two. It took the team 20 days of work to complete the livery you see on the 720S. That timeframe does not include the several iterations that MSO had to create in order to create the perfect finish. Joining the livery are matching key shells, brake calipers and a bespoke interior. McLaren has also announced that they're offering a limited number of customers the ability to commission a Gulf livery through MSO. First Look At The Lamborghini Huracan STO by Carfection

This is why you need one! Three letters signify a decade of lessons learned on the track. Super Trofeo Omologata translates to Lamborghini's most extreme racing Huracan that also happens to be street legal. Compared to the Performante, the body is all-new. The hood and fenders are now one-piece, and the quarter panels have heat and pressure extractor vents. Carbon fiber makes up 75% of the body, and wider wheels are flared into all corners. A ram-air intake atop the V10 increases downforce, and a rear spine holds the RWD supercar straight into and out of the corners. It generates 53% more downforce than the Performante, and it arrives with Brembo's most potent brake compounds. Inside we are treated to a titanium roll cage from Akrapovic, and microfiber lines most of the surfaces. Pricing starts at $327,838 and deliveries are starting soon. 2021 Corvette Convertible Revealed as Indy Pace Car

Chevrolet's 2-seater looks ready to race! For the 18th time in Corvette history, the Corvette will pace this year's Indianapolis 500. It seems appropriate, as the Chevrolet brothers were pioneers at this very track. May 30th will mark 100 years since Arthur had a great run in the fist Indy 500, and they were competitive for the next two decades. I have owned a few Corvette pace cars over the years, so I am partial to the 2007 which was dressed in Atomic Orange. To keep the field safe this year, we see Sky Cool Gray and Strike Yellow accented by the traditional logos of the event. The strobe lights are normally auxiliary, but Corvette engineers were able to integrate the strobes into the convertible's deck lid. The press release from IMS doesn't mention how many examples have been prepared, but rest assured, I am on the hunt for one. Baby III

Why Your Collection Needs The Baby Bugatti II

Your little ones deserve the best! Ettore Bugatti was a true renaissance man. Catering to the wishes of young and old, Molsheim never turned down a unique request. In keeping with this tradition, the Little Car Company has commenced production on the Baby Bugatti II. This encore performance is the second collaboration between these industry leaders. We've previewed this little car before, so here is a quick refresher. Only 500 examples were offered, and each one is built to order. Each one arrives with membership to the Bugatti Owners Club, where they can be raced around the world. Inspiration comes from the firs Baby Bugatti that debuted in 1926. Loaded with the latest in technology, your baby will have hydraulic brakes, LED lights, and 13.4 horsepower. Using the Speed Key, you will be able to cruise at 42 mph, or limit the speed to 12 mph as they learn. Being able to reach 62 mph in six seconds is as fast as I want to go in such a light conveyance, and the batteries are mounted low to offer great handling.
