After completing a monumental NFL career with seven victories at the Super Bowl, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is making a shift to an entirely different sport. That's right, the superstar is hanging up his pads to take part in sponsoring a new motorsport team for the 2023 race season. Brady's namesake BRADY brand will feature a spot as the Official Apparel Partner for Hertz Team JOTA hypercar racing team, alongside the Porsche professionals at Singer Group. The track weapon of choice is a new Porsche 963 LMDh race car that features a Hertz Racing Gold livery.
The BRADY logo appears on each side of the aerodynamic fixed spoiler, giving competitors a perfect view as the Porsche passes them on the straights and around corners. Tom Brady expressed his excitement by saying “I have been a big fan of motor racing for a long time, and for BRADY™ to now be a part of Hertz Team JOTA as the future of motorsport apparel and design is an incredibly exciting opportunity." Hertz Team JOTA will compete in the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and at one the world’s largest sporting events, the 100th edition of the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours.
