After signing the first customer car chassis of the new Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, performance automotive design and engineering legend Gordon Murray is now proudly able to complete a sign-off drive of the completed supercar. It’s an incredible testament to his engineering genius, which was previously responsible for legendary performance machines like the McLaren F1 and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, and it not only features the immense power of a naturally-aspirated V12 engine but also a rear fan for downforce, an innovation made famous in the racing world.
The car also features things like a center driving position like Murray’s McLaren F1, and with its screaming V12 engine note and manual transmission like the legendary supercar, Gordon Murray calls it “the next F1” after taking it for an incredible spin. You can watch as the car is driven by racing superstar Dario Franchitti MBE as well as Gordon Murray himself in a new video published by Gordon Murray Automotive, and with the sign-off drive complete, the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, a certain future supercar legend, is here, ready, and approved to start making a name for itself on the road.
