Whether it’s for his time in the Fugees or his collaboration with Shakira, Wyclef Jean is known for his rap, musical, and acting efforts. However, in a collaboration between his Attucks Futures and Technology and Apex Motors, he launched the Apex AP-0 in the United States at the prestigious Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. The all-electric supercar is designed in the UK and built in the United States, and claims to be the “lightest-ever electric supercar.” With a weight of just 2,645 pounds, its rear electric motor with 650 horsepower and 427 lb/ft of torque give it the ability to reach 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds and top out at 190 mph.
In addition to launching the car, the rapper also created a song to celebrate its launch and incredible capabilities. The Apex AP-0 costs $350,000, however, considering the fact that it features a low center of gravity, LiDAR technology, augmented reality features, and hair-raising electric performance, this supercar is sure to turn heads and thrill drivers wherever it goes.
