Lunaz Announces Electric Aston Martin DB6 Cars That Cost ...

Restored classic Aston Martin with reinvented powertrains. Lunaz has announced the production of their new electrified Aston Martin DB6 cars, a new take on the iconic classic cars. Each of these vehicles undergoes an extensive bare-metal restoration and re-engineering process that gives the DB6s concourse-ready quality. Included in this process is the implementation of Lunaz's proprietary modular electric powertrain. This in-house developed electric powertrain has a range of 255 miles and is capable of CCS fast-charging. Those are features you'd never expect in a classic car like the DB6. To give these cars a more modern drive are modifications to the brakes, suspension, and steering. Lunaz also modifies the interior to ensure maximum comfort and includes modern technologies like an A/C system, infotainment system, navigation systems, and Wi-Fi connectivity. These are all features you'd never expect in a classic Aston Martin. Lunaz has not announced the exact price of these electric DB6 cars but does note that it will exceed over $1 million. The first deliveries are expected in the third quarter of 2023. See All Aston Martins For Sale Source: Lunaz

Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll Pull Off James Bond Stu...

Seb would be the perfect, gentlemanly James Bond. The new James Bond film, "No Time To Die," is set to release on October 8, 2021, and Aston Martin is celebrating the moment in a fitting manner. The automaker has been a part of the Bond films for years, being the secret agent's car of choice many times. Being so prevalent in the Bond universe, they had the Aston Martin Formula 1 drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll, see if they could cut it as a stunt driver in one of the films. Showing them how it's done in the video up above is Mark Higgins, the stunt driver for the 'No Time To Die.' After giving them prompts on the 007 stunts, the two drivers, plus Martin Brundle of the Sky Sports F1 team, went on to see who could pull them off the best in a modified Aston Martin DB5. While I won't spoil it, they came to the same conclusion that I did before I even watched the video, which was that Vettel would be a great James Bond. Check it out for yourself by clicking play up above. See All Aston Martins For Sale Source: Aston Martin

Meet the Aston Martin DB5 Junior: The Perfect Little Spy Car

For all of the aspiring agents out there. Aston Martin, The Little Car Company, and EON have announced the new Aston Martin DB5 Junior, a wonderful recreation of the classic spy car. While it may be a two-thirds-scale version of the original, it's still very true to the original. To create it, the original Aston Martin DB5 was 3D-scanned so that the team could ensure this little version would be a perfect interpretation. While it may be smaller, it still packs gadgets like simulated Gatling guns, a cycling digital number plate, and even a smoke screen. Each of these gadgets can be controlled via the hidden gadget panel. Powering the little DB5 is an electric powertrain that has a range of up to 80 miles, which is good enough for a tiny escape. The range of the battery can be checked on the battery meter that replaces the fuel gauge on the dashboard. Speaking of the interior, it looks stunning, featuring Smiths instruments and comfortable seats for two. The pricing for the No Time To Die editions of the DB5 Junior is set at £90,000 (~$123,000 USD) and just 125 examples will be created. You can learn more via 007junior.com. Giant "Toy" Aston Martin DB5 Spotted in London For New Ja...

This is a toy that you can actually drive. To celebrate the upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die, Aston Martin launched a new campaign that starred a very large "toy". In reality, it's not a toy but an actual Aston Martin Goldfinger DB5 Continuation model housed inside a giant Corgi scale model box. Corgi first released James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 toy car back in 1965, and it immediately won awards like "Toy of the Year" in the UK. As for the example inside the giant box, it's an actual working model that has a limited production run of 25 examples. It features special gadgets like simulated pop-out machine guns, a retractable bulletproof rear shield, and rotating license plates. Joining the giant toy box were a few other cars that will also be featured in the film. For No Time To Die, there's a blend of classic, modern, and future Aston Martin models, four to be exact. They include the Aston Martin DB5, Aston Martin V8, DBS, and Valhalla. I'm quite excited to see the Valhalla on the big screen! Aston Martin will have the giant Corgi box, DB5 included, on display at The Coaling Jetty, Battersea Power Station until October 1, 2021. And be sure to watch No Time To Die when it releases on October 8, 2021. Aston Martins For Sale Source: Aston Martin

Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider Unveiled: As Close to Drivin...

The most extreme open-air experience Aston Martin offers. After being teased, the new Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider has been unveiled and it promises to provide an experience that's as close to Formula 1 as it gets on the road. Like the original coupe Valkyrie, the Valkyrie Spider is powered by a hybrid V12 powertrain that provides 1139 horsepower. While the powertrain remains the same, the carbon fiber structure, aerodynamics, and active chassis systems have all been revised for the Valkyrie Spider. All of these changes were designed to reduce weight and ensure that the Valkyrie Spider provides optimal aerodynamics. Aston Martin most definitely fulfilled their goals because this hypercar can generate 3,086 lbs of downforce at 149 mph. As for top speed, it can reach over 205 mph with the roof removed and over 217 when the roof is on. The roof itself is a removable carbon fiber panel that latches onto the tub at the rear and to the windshield surround at the front. It also features two polycarbonate roof windows that are hinged on the sides. One other change that you'll notice in the gallery below is that the doors are not front-hinged dihedral ones. If you'd like to see the new Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider for yourself, it will be on display at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance by invitation only. Aston Martin Has 2 Big Surprises for Pebble Beach Concour...

Get ready for a global reveal and U.S. debut. Over the last 70 years, Aston Martin has given the American market some of the best-looking sports cars we've ever seen. Before James Bond was seen driving around his now-iconic DB5 in 'Goldfinger', Aston Martin had already won the 24 Hours of Le Mans a few years prior. As a result, the British carmaker is no stranger to style or motorsport.  To celebrate its 70th anniversary in the American market, Aston Martin has decided to bring two significant surprises to this year's 2021 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The first will be a global reveal, a brand-new model we have never seen before. The second will be the 2023 Aston Martin Valhalla. While this supercar recently made its official debut in Europe, it hasn't been shown in North America. As a quick reminder, the Valhalla utilizes a 4.0-liter V8 engine built by AMG and will be limited to a total production run of 999 units.  If you want to see this global debut before the masses, you'll need a VIP ticket to the Aston Martin Club 1913 clubhouse. That's because the British carmaker plans to unveil its new car on August 12th.  Aside from its latest models, Aston Martin also plans to display one of its ultra-rare V12 Speedster models as well as a DB5 Goldfinger Continuation model, one of just 25 ever built.  If you want to drive around like Bond during this year's Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance, make sure to check out duPont REGISTRY's wide selection of available ultra-rare Astons, ranging from a 1964 DB5 for $795,000 to a 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato for $599,999.  See All Aston Martins For Sale Source: Aston Martin

Santan Dave and Stormzy Takeover Aston Martin Headquarters

All for the recent "Clash" music video. If you happened upon the recent "Clash" music video from Santan Dave and Stormzy, you may have noticed the filming location. Why? Because it was filmed at Aston Martin facilities in Gaydon and Silverstone. At the headquarters in Gaydon, the two rappers walk through the customer inspection line. Then, they travel to their Silverstone facility where they take the wheel of both a DBS and V12 Speedster. Santan Dave said: “I’m extremely grateful to Aston Martin who couldn’t have been more of a pleasure to collaborate with on this video. It’s only right to showcase such an iconic British brand and such beautiful design alongside this moment.” You can see the music video for yourself up above by clicking play.
