Glow-in-the-Dark Aston Martin DBS for Gumball 3000

Though a healthy amount of attention has been paid to Deadmau5 and Jon Olsson's customized cars for this year's Gumball 3000 Rally, there are dozens of other teams and cars traveling with them from Stockholm to Las Vegas, including one that will put on its best show after the sun goes down.Acting as the official car for Team 46 is a completely glow-in-the-dark Aston Martin DBS. Unveiled on the Gumball 3000 website May 17, the iridescent blue is courtesy of a unique UV coating that absorbs UV radiation from the sunlight during the day, then becomes self-illuminating at night. Nevana Designs is the company behind this glowing paint, which was originally developed by Hamish Scott for the STARPATH project, which aimed to eliminate the need for electricity to light up walkways at night. Aston Martin & Quintessence Yachts Introduce the AM37 Yacht

Aston Martin is extending their "art of living" into an entirely new segment as they enter their second century of existence, and their first step is into the water. The AM37 is the newly introduced speedboat from Aston Martin and Quintessence Yachts, the first in what is reported to be a new line of aquatic vessels from the 102-year-old luxury manufacturer. Aston Martin shared a few pictures of this new creation on their Facebook page May 5, giving us a look at design details pulled from vehicle concepts that have yet to be released to the public. To maintain a thorough infusion of British architecture, assembly of these vessels takes place in Southampton, England. The naval architecture services and design framework were crafted in the Netherlands by Mulder Design, a niche firm founded in 1979  with more than 600 designs that have hit the water.(See Also: Aston Martin Lease Program Introduced for United States)Be sure to stay with us for more information about this new vessel's official unveiling, which BBC tells us will be in September of this year.
