Aston Martin Valkyrie is Surprisingly Customizable

Aston Martin's new hypercar, the Valkyrie, looks just about as futuristic as you can get. I mean, when we start seeing it on the street, it's going to look like someone drove it right out of a concept car convention. Even if it looks like it should be in Minority Report, it's still being made by Aston Martin, and that means luxury and personalization options are available.Bloomberg is reporting that buyers of the new Valkyrie are going to be given a true red carpet treatment when spec'ing out their hypercar. First, when customers pick on their colors, Aston Martin will send them a 1:18 scale model of the car in the desired colors. This way they can see just how their car would look in the true paint and not in a digital rendering. Customers can repeat this process until they're happy with their choice.Just like other Aston Martins, the customization options span across the Valkyrie. Materials in the cabin are all up for different choices, including the seats, dashboard, headliner and trim. The example that was debuted went for a carbon fiber cabin, but fine leather and Alcantara is more than likely available. On the outside, customers can change the paint, the reflectivity of the panels, and the wheels. For the debut example, the wheels were fitted with carbon fiber disc coverings to reduce drag.Pricing for options aren't available yet, but we'll get them to you as soon as they're released.

$1.7 Million Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Speedster Spied...

Aston Martin is going ahead with the production of a new Vanquish Zagato Speedster model. The British automaker has already introduced Vanquish Zagato and Vanquish Zagato Volante models, but the Speedster has yet to have been formally revealed. However, Autocar learned about the car through one of their inside sources.Like the other Vanquish Zagato models, the new Speedster will have 592 hp being produced by its 6.0-liter V12 engine. Unlike the other models, this new model will have a new and striking style that's befitting of a speedster-type car.BridgeToGantry recently captured the unrevealed Aston Martin model as it was being tested on Nurburgring. The car has a completely matte black exterior with what looks like silver accents. Joining the Speedster in the video found below is a Vanquish Zagato Volante with a matte black finish and gold accents.

Aston Martin Vantage GT by Justin Bell

By Justin BellIn my transition from full-time racer to TV host, one of my most enjoyable gigs is the Le Mans 24 Hour race in France. During this epic race, my secret pleasure is in supporting the Aston Martin race team as they do battle with the established racing giants. I was very excited to see the Vantage GT launched here in the US. It’s a great street representation of the Vantage GT4 racecar that can be seen across North America during the 2014 season. It has race inspired aerodynamics and styling across the bodywork, and the graphics packages are as cool as you want to make them. To help enthusiasts get into motorsports, check out the exciting news from Aston Martin.Aston Martin Vantage GT Specs: $99,900 Engine: 4.7L V-8 430 hp Torque: 361 foot-pounds 0–60: 4.6 seconds Top Speed: 190 mph Transmission: Six Speed Manual or Automatic Inside it is a little more luxurious than the racing version, but there is a purposeful attitude nevertheless, with sports seats, black-magnesium paddle-shifts and carbon fiber all around you. The Vantage GT is a very sporty Grand Tourer to push hard. It has a tremendously responsive mid-mounted 4.7-liter dry sump V-8 with a cracking exhaust to match. Engineers worked diligently to calibrate the sports suspension and steering, as from corner entry to exit the chassis feels planted. You may not be an Aston Martin factory race driver, but in the Vantage GT, you will feel like one. Chris Harris Reviews the Aston Martin DB11 on Top Gear

Last year at the Nashville Auto Show, our friends a Music City Motor Cars allowed me to put a few miles on the new Aston Martin DB11. It is a stunning departure from every Aston in recent history, and the change was long overdue. The turbos are perfectly sized to the big V12, and that allows for torque in any situation. My experience was a late night run from the convention center back to the dealership in Brentwood, and the car was flawless in traffic and on the interstate. Also Check Out: Aston Martin Unveils V8 Powered DB11For a proper British review, you need Chris Harris and torrential rain. Such was the case in the latest upload from Top Gear. No matter how objective the show may be, it's an English show featuring an Aston Martin, so take it with a grain of salt. Adaptive suspension has three modes for comfort and performance, and they are controlled by a thumb button on the steering wheel. Powertrain response also offers three levels, also within easy reach. The interior is a clean-sheet design, borrowing Mercedes infotainment systems for a logical layout of controls. The chassis that supports it all is also all-new, doing away with the ancient VH architecture that was introduced on the first Vanquish in 2001. Chris mentions the size and width are larger than proper sports cars, making it a grand tourer. You might not believe it, but the DB11 is actually 10 inches longer and wider than a Corvette Z06. Rain soaked roads are boring if you have 600 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, so click here to find an Aston Martin DB11 for sale near you and experience it for yourself.

Aston-Martin Reveals Secrets of the Valkyrie

In an effort to build the ultimate track car, Aston Martin is almost ready to launch the Valkyrie. We've been waiting for the juicy details for some time, and thanks to a press release late last night we can see the finer details. Working with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and AF Racing, the supercar has some amazing features. In the latest version, the front wheels and suspension are housed in pods that are almost disconnected from the bodywork. The giant openings between the wheels and the cockpit generate incredible downforce. The engine intakes obscure any rear view and door mirrors create turbulence. But the driver will have great peripheral vision thanks to HD displays mounted in the A-pillars. It is truly one of the most unique sports cars for sale. The quest for weight savings has resulted in headlights that are 40% lighter than anything they have built before. Even the iconic Aston-Martin badge was acid etched to a thickness of 70 microns, or 30% thinner than a hair. Mounted at the end of the car's spine, the center stop light is a bright LED matrix that is 5.5mm wide and 9.5mm tall. Miles Nurnberger, Director of Exterior Design summarized the latest prototype: "I would say we’re around 95 per cent of the way there with the exterior design. Much of what you see is actually the structure of the car, so this had to be signed-off relatively early in the project. The remaining areas of non-structural bodywork are still subject to evolution and change as Adrian continues to explore way of finding more downforce. The new outlets in the body are a case in point. Ordinarily, the last thing we’d want to do to one of our surfaces is cut a hole in it, but these vents work the front wings so much harder that they’ve found a significant gain in front downforce. The fact that they are so effective gives them their own functional beauty, but we’ve finessed them without impacting on their functionality. That they also serve as windows through which to view the fabulous wing section front wishbones is a welcome bonus!”. This dedication to engineering and performance is a characteristic of every new Aston Martin for sale. So experience one for yourself and stay with us for all your Aston Martin news.

Leaked Footage of the Aston Martin Valkyrie Revealed

Uh oh, it looks like somebody was behind the scenes and managed to captured some footage of the new Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar. The video was taken at Aston Martin's Art and Lifestyle event, and it shows the interior for the first time.Inside the Valkyrie, we see a cockpit that is most certainly designed for the driver. Its steering wheel looks like it was pulled right from a Formula 1 car, which will more than likely allow the driver to adjust a myriad of functions that the car provides. Interesting enough, there is no instrument cluster to be found, leaving me to assume gauges will be displayed on the steering wheel or on the large screen that rests in front of the passenger's seat.It should be noted that this is most likely not a 100% representation of what the production version will look like. However, this model's exterior is definitely different when compared to that of the concept car that was present some time ago.

Aston Martin Vulcans Gather for Epic Track Day

Owning one of the world's rarest cars has some nice perks. The Vulcan from Aston Martin is the ultimate evolution of their 7.0 liter V12. It offers 800 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque to a sequential 6-speed transmission. Because of the extensive racing equipment and lack of pollution controls, it is not street legal. Owners must get permission from the factory before participating in any motorsports events. Only 24 examples were built, and each one had a price tag over $2 million dollars. Much of the engineering and production was done by Multimatic. Their innovative DSSV shocks are mounted on inboard suspension front and rear. Also Check Out: Ferrari F430 For SaleNeedless to say, it's a rare sight to see one in person, so catching a group of them is awe-inspiring. In a YouTube video uploaded by the manufacturer this morning, we are allowed a glimpse of the recent Vulcan gathering at the Circuit of the Americas. Aston Martin Shoots Three-Foot Flames

Cars spitting flames isn't crazy nowadays, but an Aston Martin V8 Vantage shooting three-foot flames is.This insane English Aston Martin sports car was stumbled upon by YouTuber TheCarGuy18 in Belfast. In order to make the flames possible, it has a flame kit that purposefully dumps unburnt fuel into the rear of the exhaust, results in the massive flames. He notes in the description that this was filmed on private property and out of harm's way because frankly, this is a borderline weapon. What do you guys think of this mod? Is it cool, unsafe, or would you install one on your car? Let us know in the comments section below.Aston Martin Flamethrower
