If you are looking for a great location for anything automotive, the Petersen Museum should be at the top of your list. With over 100 cars & bikes on display, it was the setting for RM Sotheby's auction last weekend.

And in 1st place was Lot 24, a Classiche-certified 1956 Ferrari 290 MM. It found a new owner with a hammer price of $22,005,000

Tell us which cars were over or undervalue. In my humble opinion, spending under a million dollars for a Ferrari Daytona is a deal of a lifetime. A 1971 Lamborghini Miura was $13,000 new which translates to $82,000 adjusted for inflation. What a solid investment that would have been!
