RM Sotheby's Is Auctioning Off Lewis Hamilton's 2013 Merc...

This is your chance to own a piece of Formula One and Lewis Hamilton history. Formula One racing is accelerating in global popularity, with thrilling on-track battles and captivating behind-the-scenes drama drawing in a fresh wave of race fans. Among all the world-class team drivers who compete each week for a spot on the podium, Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Champion Lewis Hamilton stands out as one of the most successful and favored drivers on the grid. The luxury auction professionals at RM Sotheby's are pleased to showcase a truly remarkable piece of F1 history, the 2013 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 W04 racecar once driven by Lewis Hamilton himself. Sporting one of the F1 team's most iconic race liveries, the silver and Petronas green racecar was the first Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team car driven to victory by the British seven-time Formula One Drivers' Champion. In addition to competing in 14 out of the 19 events during the 2013 Formula One season, Lewis drove the car to victory at the 2013 Hungarian Grand Prix. As if there wasn't enough significance tied to the F1 racecar, it also shaped itself as a key contributor to Mercedes-AMG Petronas' 2nd place finish in the 2013 Constructors' Championship. The power source leading Lewis Hamilton to victory was Mercedes-AMG Petronas’ final naturally aspirated 2.4 liter V-8 Formula One engine model. Available exclusively through RM Sotheby's Las Vegas auction event, the 2013 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 W04 driven by Lewis Hamilton is estimated to sell somewhere between $10 million and $15 million. Knowing how many dedicated Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 fans there are, we are curious to see if the selling price will exceed the original estimate. Lewis Hamilton's 2013 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 W04 racecar from RM Sotheby's is currently for sale on duPont REGISTRY by clicking the link below. The Sotheby's Motorsport Auction For This Viola Nebula La...

This 2023 STO delivers sports-purpose performance at the top of the Huracán range. Bridging the gap between daily drivable supercars and track-focused race cars, Lamborghini developed the Huracán STO as the ultimate race-inspired model for owners who enjoy spending their weekends setting lap times at the track. Named after the Italian manufacturer's Super Trofeo International race series, the Huracàn street car takes on a menacing appearance thanks to ultra-lightweight, aerodynamic body upgrades. The high-end automotive auction specialists at Sotheby's Motorsport are pleased to showcase this 2023 Lamborghini Huracán STO as one of the incredible listings currently available for bidding. While Lamborghini showcases an impressive color palette within its configurator, this Huracán STO spec features a factory head-turning matte Viola Nebula exterior finish. Additionally, areas of the supercar are left exposed to showcase the brand's use of carbon fiber, which includes the front splitter, hood vents, fender louvers, side mirrors, side skirts, roof scoop, and fixed rear wing. The build comes equipped with a set of gloss black HEK 20-inch forged wheels and matching Lamborghini x Brembo CCM-R carbon ceramic brake calipers. With over $55,140 in options alone, this Huracán STO configuration comes with essential upgrades such as a front lift system, STO-Sportivo trim, a fire extinguisher, and much more. Inside, Lamborghini styles the driver-centric interior layout in Nero Cosmus Alcantara simulated suede interior with white contrast accents. Carbon fiber greets passengers from every angle with the finely woven lightweight material featured in door panels, adjustable bucket seats, and much interior trim. A central 8.4-inch touchscreen between passengers cleanly locates infotainment controls away from the driver's main display. Fitted with everything needed for a fun and safe day at the circuit, the Lamborghini Huracán STO is the race car you don't have to trailer to the track. The Lamborghini Huracán STO is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, boasting a staggering 640 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain catapults the HUracán STO from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures rapid-fire gear shifts, while its rear-wheel-drive setup optimizes weight distribution for peak performance. This 2023 Lamborghini Huracán STO auction from Sotheby's Motorsport is currently live for bidding and ends on September 21st. View Sotheby's Motorsport Auction Listing Source: Sotheby's Motorsport

Auction Of Incredibly Rare Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Mos...

Named after the one and only Sir Stirling Moss. If you've seen a Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss in the flesh, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. With only 75 examples of this model ever built, they are a rarity in the world. Mercedes-Benz unveiled the SLR Stirling Moss back in 2009 as a car that would celebrate the 300 SLR Stirling Moss and Denis Jekinson drove to a record-breaking victory at the 1955 Mille Miglia. Devoid of the niceties you'd find in most cars, the SLR Stirling Moss was designed to provide an extremely enjoyable drive that was based around raw power and exquisite performance. Right now, one extraordinary example of this supercar is being auctioned off through Sotheby's Sealed. With under 150 km clocked on its odometer since new, it's in absolutely pristine condition. Since being registered in Germany back in 2010, the current and single private owner of the vehicle has cared for it so that it can be presented in virtually as-new condition inside and out. Being one of the most sought-after Mercedes of recent memory, this is a rare chance to get what could be one of the finest examples of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss. The auction ends at 12pm EST, so act fast if you so happen to be interested. View Lot Details Source: RM Sotheby's
