The M6 Coupe Competition Edition comes in either Alpine White or Austin Yellow metallic. To signify its special edition status are the iconic BMW M exterior body stripes that come with the package. Inside is a BMW Individual interior clad in fine-grain black Merino leather with contrast stitching available in either Opal White with Alpine White paintwork, or Yellow with Austin Yellow metallic paintwork. "M6 Competition" lettering can be found throughout the cabin, even on the cupholder lids.

Pricing for the Competition Edition option starts at €17,700, or approximately $20,000 USD as of press time. This price does not include the other required options, which amount to roughly $2,700 USD.
