Bugatti Bolide Owners Take Over Miami’s F1 Circuit

Eight of the 40 track-only hypercars gathered at the Miami International Autodrome to unleash Bugatti’s 1,600-hp W16 in its natural habitat.

Dreamt up to deliver a true racing experience for an exclusive group of Bugatti owners, the all-new Bugatti Bolide has lived up to its promise as an uncompromising factory-built racecar—and the final chapter of Bugatti’s legendary W16 engine, designed purely for the track. In addition to a one-on-one track session with a factory driver as part of the initial delivery of each car, Bugatti’s after-sales and customer service program also takes pride in organizing private track events worldwide for the 40 lucky Bolide owners to unleash the full potential of their 1,600-horsepower hypercars.
Recently, in sunny South Florida, Bugatti held a private gathering called “Feeling The Track” at Miami International Autodrome, welcoming eight Bolides and their owners to set some lap times on Miami’s Formula 1 circuit. But before anyone climbed into a Bolide, the day started with some classroom time learning the rhythm of the circuit, braking zones, and the kinds of mistakes that tend to happen when driving a fast, technical layout. And even after that, the first on-track sessions were behind the wheel of a fleet of McLaren 750S specs, establishing some confidence while working up to the main event.Driving the Bolide itself is a different experience entirely. Built purely for the track, the car relies heavily on downforce, slick tires, and a power delivery that’s closer to an endurance racecar than anything road-legal. Sessions were structured with instructors riding along or communicating over radio, helping drivers find their rhythm without overstepping the car’s limits. Behind the scenes, Bugatti’s team kept things running like a small race operation, monitoring tires, refueling between runs, and reviewing data to help drivers improve lap by lap.
As the day wound down, the group hung up helmets for a quieter evening at the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, where conversations naturally drifted back to the track. It’s rare to see cars like the Bolide used the way they were intended, rather than stored away in collections. For a small group of owners in Miami, at least for one day, the car got exactly the kind of exercise it was built for.
