Bugatti Is Testing Its $5M Blue Carbon Mistral Roadster I...

Bugatti is one step closer to finalizing the Mistral Roadster! Since the inception of the Bugatti Mistral, hypercar collectors around the world have been trying to find a way to get their hands on the world-renowned manufacturer's newest $5 million road car. And while discerning buyers with the means of acquiring a vehicle of this caliber would be more than inclined to do so, solely for the fact of being a part of automotive history, Bugatti has hand-selected the lucky 99 owners who will soon take delivery of the contending world's fastest roadster. Before any deliveries, or even full production, begins in the famed halls of Molsheim, Bugatti must first complete its rigorous testing period on both public roads and race circuits. Bugatti recently took to its Instagram page to update the car world on the progress of the 1,578 horsepower, W16-powered Mistral Roadster, which has been on a luxurious tour through the south of France to accrue data that can further improve its overall driving experience. While mandatory road tests sound like an unamusing part of the production process, Bugatti has kicked things up a notch by showcasing a stunning exposed blue carbon fiber Mistral Roadster as its acclaimed test mule. Cruising through the streets of Monaco alongside breathtaking driving roads, the Mistral's dark blue and French Racing Blue configuration sparkles in the sun with precious bronze highlights. Whether stopping by Bugatti Monaco for a visit or finding a picturesque pull-off for the perfect shot, it's more than clear that the Mistral's road presence is un compared to anything that's rolled off Bugatti's production line. One step closer to the first customer cars hitting the roads, Bugatti continues to stay on schedule through the Mistral Roadster testing phase. Watch Bugatti's Design Team Present Proposals For The 1,8...

Bugatti pulls the curtain back on an important behind-the-scenes moment. The new Bugatti Tourbillon is an absolute hypercar sensation. When it was revealed, all 250 allocations for the masterpiece were spoken for only shortly after, and it delivered on its immense expectations. Those were, of course, set by the Tourbillon’s legendary predecessors, the quad-turbocharged W16-powered Chiron and the Veyron before it. However, rather than employing the W16, the new Bugatti Tourbillon opted for a naturally-aspirated V16 engine from Cosworth, paired with a hybrid system for an unimaginable 1,800 horsepower. While the public has only known about the Tourbillon for a few months, the new incredible Bugatti hypercar results from years of development. ‘A New Era: Determining the Future’ is a docuseries on Bugatti’s YouTube channel that chronicles the long and intense process that resulted in the Tourbillon of today. The latest episode focuses on the design and aesthetics of the new car, showing the moment in February 2022 when Bugatti’s design team presented proposals for the new car. Starting as sketches, these proposals then slowly came to life as CAD models and were whittled down to three final proposals. The cars were then presented as full-size painted models. Those models were presented to the board, and the final design would go through feasibility studies over the coming months. It was one of the most important breakthroughs in the development of the Tourbillon, finalizing what the incredible new hypercar sensation would look like. As part of the ‘A New Era: Determining the Future’ docuseries, you can watch it now as a captivating chapter in the long journey towards the 2026 deliveries of the Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar.
