The Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic Is Displayed At the Gugge...

The Bugatti family was artful when it came to cars and otherwise. Any Bugatti fan knows that the brand’s old cars, just like the modern ones, are incredible statements that show the highest potential for automotive beauty and performance of the time. What is less known is that Jean Bugatti’s brother, Rembrandt Bugatti, had a similar pursuit in the world of art, as one of the 20th century’s most notable sculptors. Together, both brothers’ work will be featured at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in a new exhibition until September 18, called “Motion. Autos, Art, Architecture.” MUST READ: Bugatti’s Environmental Sustainability Efforts Date Back Over 110 Years While Rembrandt Bugatti’s sculpture work will be displayed, Jean Bugatti’s part in the exhibition is fulfilled by the very first Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic built, the most exclusive car ever made. The example on display belonged to Victor Rothschild, the British banker, and is one of only two surviving examples of the car, the other belonging to Ralph Lauren. This Bugatti model is the one that was the original La Voiture Noire, the practically mythical Type 57 SC Atlantic that mysteriously disappeared in 1938. If it is found, it is estimated to be worth over €100 million, which speaks to just how storied and revered the Type 57 SC Atlantic, and Bugatti as a whole are. Bugatti's Environmental Sustainability Efforts Date Back ...

Bugatti isn’t just committed to changing the world with its incredible hypercars, but also to preserving that world’s natural beauty. It’s Earth Day, and Bugatti acknowledges the occasion by talking about the efforts that it has taken as a brand towards achieving sustainability and preserving the natural environment, which actually date back more than 110 years. Near Bugatti’s Molsheim Atelier in Alsace, France, Ettore Bugatti planted a forest over 110 years ago, and in that forest now lives a herd of deer, right next to Bugatti’s château. MUST-READ: Bugatti Chiron Price, Specs, Photos & Review This reforestation effort has continued to this day, and new shoots are part of it, which will grow to replace the trees that stand now, continuing the life cycle of the forest. Bugatti has planted 9,125 new trees in the past year, and this is just the beginning of Bugatti’s sustainability efforts. Bugatti makes sure to use green power in its production as well as green biogas, repurposes 98% of its waste, and carefully tracks its carbon footprint as a brand. As Bugatti surges towards the future, it makes sure that said future is as good as it can be for everyone. View All Bugattis For Sale Source: Bugatti

The Bugatti Centodieci Nears Production After Over 30,000...

Even with just 10 being made, Bugatti is putting the Centodieci through the wringer. Bugatti demands the best out of everything it does, which is why its cars are known for breaking records, turning heads, and being the objects of people’s highest aspirations. Its coach built models are the biggest representation of that, being Bugatti’s most rare and incredible creations. The brand’s latest coach built model, the Centodieci, pays homage to the EB110, another Bugatti legend from the 1990s, known for its revolutionary speed capability, thanks to a carbon-fiber monocoque, quadruple-turbos, and all-wheel-drive. MUST READ: See the World’s First Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Delivery The Centodieci not only builds on the EB110’s legacy but also the legacy of cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Bugatti Chiron that define Bugatti’s success and excellence. And to do that, the Centodieci needs to be held to the same high standard of quality. Even though only 10 Centodiecis will be made, Bugatti has put the car through a rigorous round of testing, in the name of over 50,000 kilometers, or 30,000 miles of testing at Nardò. For Bugatti, and especially the Centodieci’s engine, this is somewhat of a return to Nardò, as the Volkswagen W12 Nardò was named after the incredible speed records it set with the W12 engine on the track, which would go on to be the basis for the W16 that powers the Bugatti supercars we know and love today. After this testing, a final assessment will decide whether the Centodieci is ready to enter production at the Molsheim Atelier in Alsace, France, and once it does, all ten cars are getting delivered to their owners this year.
