Last Chance: Celebrity-Owned Porsche 911 S/T Closing Today on duPont REGISTRY Live

Last Chance: Celebrity-Owned Porsche 911 S/T Closing Today on duPont REGISTRY Live

Porsche has built plenty of special 911s over the decades, but few modern examples carry the same weight as the 911 S/T. Created to mark 60 years of 911, the S/T is all about going back to the basics, mechanical feel, and simplicity. Now, one of the most compelling examples available is up for auction on duPont REGISTRY Live, closing later today. This particular 2024 Porsche 911 S/T comes with just 253 miles on the odometer and was previously owned by the lead man of Maroon 5, who is a well-known Porsche enthusiast with a reputation for carefully curated, driver-focused cars. Adding celebrity provenance further elevates its appeal, and that association alone gives this S/T a narrative that goes beyond production numbers and option codes. Finished in Shore Blue Metallic and specified with the Heritage Design Package, this particular example leans heavily into its commemorative role. Gold badging, Exclusive Design taillights, PDLS+ LED matrix headlights, and Heritage details throughout set it apart visually. Inside, Black and Classic Cognac leather, Sport Seats Plus, the Chrono Package, Bose surround sound, and an individually numbered limited-edition plaque complete the cabin. Nearly $37,000 in factory options were selected, including front axle lift and the extended range fuel tank. <- Gallery -> At its core, the S/T pairs the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat six from the GT3 RS with a traditional six-speed manual transmission. Output sits at 518 horsepower, with a 9,000 rpm redline and no turbocharging or electrification. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a mechanical, limited-slip differential and six-speed manual transmission, reinforcing Porsche’s intent to prioritize driver involvement. 60 mph comes up in roughly 3.7 seconds, with top speed capped at 186 mph. What truly defines the S/T, however, is weight reduction. Carbon fiber body panels, magnesium center lock wheels, lightweight glass, and a pared-back interior make it the lightest 992-based 911 ever produced, tipping the scales at just over 3,000 pounds. Unlike the GT3 RS, the S/T does away with the fixed wings, active aero, and rear wheel steering, resulting in a cleaner silhouette and a more traditional road-focused character. Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes come standard. Limited to just 1,963 units worldwide and offered only with a manual gearbox, the 911 S/T is already viewed as an end-of-era Porsche GT car. Often compared to the 991.1 911R, market demand has remained strong since launch, with values frequently exceeding original MSRP. With ultra-low miles, careful preservation, and previous celebrity ownership, this celebrity-owned 911 S/T represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable modern-day 911s ever built. Last Chance: Bon Jovi-Owned 1968 Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor Being Auctioned

By Edward Jones –  January 21, 2026

Last Chance: Bon Jovi-Owned "Eleanor" Being Auctioned

There have been countless Eleanor tributes over the years, but this example carries a level of provenance that sets it apart. With a story worth exploring, this 1968 Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor is now crossing the digital auction block on duPont REGISTRY Live. What's the secret behind this example? At first glance, this Mustang commands attention with Pepper Silver paint and bold black Le Mans-style stripes that instantly evoke one of the most recognizable silhouettes in American automotive mythology. The Eleanor design, made famous by its role in the 2000 action film Gone in 60 Seconds, has become a must-have for collectors around the world and has inspired thousands of tribute builds. What sets this Mustang apart on the auction block is its previous ownership by rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, a layer of cultural resonance that adds narrative weight and collector appeal beyond typical spec sheets and body kits. <- Gallery -> In terms of the mechanics and specifics, this 1968 Fastback swaps its original 289-cubic-inch V8 for a beefier 351 Cleveland V8, paired with a traditional 4-speed manual transmission. Performance-oriented upgrades like Baer four-wheel power disc brakes and a Holley performance carburetor elevate the car’s capability well above stock ’60s machinery without sacrificing its character. Step inside and the cabin stays true to classic Mustang roots while tastefully acknowledging Shelby heritage. Branded seating, a wood-rim Shelby steering wheel, Simpson racing harnesses, and auxiliary gauges nod to both performance intent and bespoke craftsmanship. Although true mileage can’t be independently verified due to the nature of the build, the odometer reflects just 691 miles, underscoring how lightly this restomod has been enjoyed since completion. 2017 Ford GT Tim Allen Barrett Jackson-3

By Khris Bharath –  November 11, 2025

Tim Allen’s 2017 Ford GT Heads to Auction in January 2026

If you’ve ever wanted to own a Ford GT with Hollywood provenance, this may be your chance. This 2017 Ford GT, previously owned by actor/comedian Tim Allen (serial no. H074 and VIN: 2FAGP9CW3HH200074), is heading to Barrett-Jackson’s 2026 Scottsdale auction through Silver Arrow Cars Ltd. One of roughly 1,350 examples built, the car only has 937 original miles on the odometer.  Tim took delivery of this GT through Galpin Ford in Los Angeles, one of the country’s top performance dealers. Finished in Ingot Silver with optional gloss carbon-fiber accents and matching 20-inch wheels, it’s fitted with a Heffner titanium exhaust, factory-protected paint film, and blue-finished calipers. Inside, carbon-backed Sparco seats trimmed in Alcantara match the “Dark Energy” theme. The cabin also includes a driver-adjustable pedal box, air conditioning, and a touchscreen infotainment unit, rare civility in such a hardcore machine. Ford engineered the third-generation GT to prove a point. Developed with the Chip Ganassi Racing program that took a class win at Le Mans in 2016, exactly 50 years after the historic win in 1966. It is as close as you can get to a race car with license plates.  At its heart lies a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 that produces 647 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. Mated to a seven-speed Getrag dual-clutch gearbox, it launches from zero to 60 mph in three seconds and can hit 216 mph flat out. It can generate 1.11 g of lateral grip and stop from 70 mph in just 145 feet. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and lightweight carbon-fiber wheels keep it razor-sharp under pressure. The chassis is a carbon-fiber monocoque built by Multimatic in Canada, complete with FIA-legal roll cage sections hidden in the roof. The hydraulically controlled pushrod suspension tech is straight from endurance racing. The body’s teardrop profile, flying buttresses, and active rear wing manage airflow, cooling, and downforce. The GT sits just 43.7 inches tall, and if you switch into Track Mode, it drops another two inches.  When new, Ford handpicked every owner through a private application process. Allen’s inclusion wasn’t a surprise given his racing history and long connection with Ford performance. Tim sold the car in October with 671 miles. The car was subsequently offered for sale by its second owner with 739 miles in 2022. Now, this low-mileage preserved GT with 937 miles is once again hitting the market with full documentation and accessories, and its original exhaust. For those who follow Ford’s history, this car connects decades of heritage from the GT40’s 1966 Le Mans triumph to the GT’s 2016 win. Expect Tim Allen’s GT to draw intense interest when it crosses the block this January; it’s a rare combination of technology, provenance, and American racing heritage.  View Listing Images: Barrett-Jackson

RM Sotheby's To Sell Wayne Gretzky's Rolls-Royce As His G...

Stars align with the sale of a hockey legend’s Rolls-Royce. The sports universe is alight with buzz currently surrounding ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, as his incredible record of 894 goals scored in his illustrious NHL career has finally been broken by Alex Ovechkin, a star player on the Washington Capitals who scored his 895th career goal this past Sunday in a game against the New York Islanders. The monumental moment for Ovechkin’s career and the sport of ice hockey alike coincides with an anticipated collector car auction from RM Sotheby’s, via its Sotheby’s Sealed program. That is of the 1994 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV owned by Wayne Gretzky, the very player whose incredible goal record was just broken. Even more serendipitously, that very car was gifted to Gretzky by the Los Angeles Kings after he scored his 802nd goal, which broke the previous record that was held by Gordie Howe. Bearing the license plate number “GOAL 802,” the timing of the sale of this hockey legend’s incredible ultra-luxury convertible is impeccable. Bidding is open now for the iconic and highly collectible 1994 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV, and bidding will end on April 17. The car was originally delivered by Rolls-Royce of Beverly Hills, and it is one of just 219 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV examples built, with a black exterior and a black leather interior, which is paired with walnut wood veneers. The sale is an anticipated moment for both car enthusiasts and hockey fans alike as the opportunity to own a highly relevant symbol of hockey history and a stunning Rolls-Royce Corniche IV with only 9,100 miles on its odometer. Sammy Hagar's Custom 1-of-1 Ferrari LaFerrari Sells At Au...

The rockstar's Italian hypercar is off to its new owner. With only 499 examples produced and allocated to Ferrari's most prominent clientele worldwide, the LaFerrari stands out as one of the most exclusive hypercars to leave Maranello. Amongst that long list of owners are celebrities like Van Halen rockstar Sammy Hagar, adding an extra cool factor to the ownership of Ferrari's first plug-in hypercar. The auction specialists at Barrett Jackson were recently proud to feature Sammy Hagar's 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari as part of its scheduled stop in Scottsdale, AZ, where it sold to a lucky new owner for a whopping $4.25 million. But what truly separates Hagar's LaFerrari from the other 498 chassis in existence, commonly configured in Red, Yellow, or Black, is its custom, one-of-one Creamy Cappuccino exterior finish. The bespoke touches continue into the cabin where the interior comes layered in matching cream leather with black contrast piping. Steering away from the traditional hues of Ferrari, Sammy Hagar's involvement and dedication throughout the configuration process led to the creation of one of the most spectacular LaFerrari specs ever made. To this day, the Ferrari LaFerrari remains an engineering marvel within the automotive world, showcasing a hybrid powertrain that competes alongside the latest and greatest hypercars. It comes powered by Ferrari's naturally aspirated 6.3L V12 engine with an electric motor that produces a combined 949 horsepower and 664 ft/lbs of torque. Setting a new world auction record for the year, Sammy Hagar's one-of-one 2015 LaFerrari is now on the way to its happy new home. With its focused interior and solid body color sans stripes, this Scuderia shines as a pure expression of the sports purpose platform. Not without memorable flair, yellow brake calipers and special stitching as ordered coordinate a sublime spec. Since the vehicle's brief tenure under Bolian's ownership, the selling dealer has tended to regular maintenance and mending. Now showing an odometer reading of just 21,000 miles, this Ferrari is sold with both a clean Georgia Title and clean Carfax report." View Listing Ed Bolian's Gated Manual Gallardo Spyder from Car Trek 1 "Originally finished in black over cream leather, this 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder remains largely as-shown in Car Trek 1. Acquiring the vehicle in poor cosmetic condition, he soon tended to lackluster paint and separating interior components. Adding nearly 7,000 miles in his first week of ownership alone, Ed's enthusiasm for the Scuderia shines in his high praise of the model's engine, interior, and overall driving experience. The car's 502 horsepower, slick-shifting F1 automated gearbox, and tasteful optioning present its next owner a truly rewarding ownership experience ahead. Now showing an odometer reading of just 43,551 miles, this Ferrari is sold with both a clean Georgia Title and clean Carfax report." The Lamborghini Gallardo is a lasting supercar icon. With its exotic, eye-catching design, impressive performance, and unique, rare V10 powertrain and exhaust note, it’s remained a favorite among many automotive enthusiasts around the world after over a decade being discontinued. As part of the Car Trek YouTube series with Hoovie’s Garage, Tavarish, and VINwiki, VINwiki’s Ed Bolian purchased a cheap, salvaged, flood-damaged 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, originally finished in black with a cream leather interior and embarked on a road trip with it, among many other activities along with the other cheap supercars. One notable and desirable feature that this specific Gallardo has is the fact that it features the coveted gated six-speed manual transmission, something that only becomes more precious and valuable as the years go by. That car went on an incredible journey of being repaired, getting a blue wrap, and participating in memorable, funny, and awe-inspiring moments, all captured in the Car Trek series on YouTube. Under Ed Bolian’s ownership, the throw-out bearing, rear main seal, clutch, and fuel pump were all replaced, and today, it’s a far cry from the barely-running condition it was in when Bolian originally purchased it. Ed Bolian's 6-Wheeled Land Rover Could Be Yours As It Hea...

There is nothing that grabs attention quite like a six-wheeled automobile. With those two extra wheels, these vehicles are giants on the road and turn heads wherever they decide to roam. Ed Bolian's six-wheeled 1976 Range Rover is a perfect example of how wonderful these creations can be. With the classic Range Rover styling and the extra pair of wheels, this vehicle is a rare unicorn in the automotive world. And the best part is that it's heading to auction on SothebysMotorsport.com. Ed first purchased this car for a Car Trek overlanding series called the "Oregon Fail." Originally, the Rover was imported into the US back in June 2022. Shortly after landing, it was converted to left-hand drive and the SUV was rebodied with a 1989 four-door body. Thankfully, the original six-wheel chassis remained and was even restored and galvanized. Inside, the Range Rover features seats from a 1996 model but there is no third row. As Ed puts it, "There is not currently a third row or any jump seats fitted in the back. At 6’5” I can lay flat behind the seats." Cargo space is obviously not a pain point with this vehicle. " width="680"> Alongside the previously mentioned modifications, there was an abundance of other prep work Ed had done in order to get it ready for the Car Trek video. This includes, but isn't limited to, a 2-inch lift, custom roof basket, eight Hella basket lights, custom front bumper with a Warn VR Evo 10s winch, aluminum front skid plate, front differential guard, seven Falken WildPeak A/T3W 235/85r16 all-terrain tires, and more. Pushing the Range Rover along is a 1989 3.9-liter Rover EFI V8 engine with RPI engineering mods. The driveline, six-disc brakes, and mechanicals are also all from a 1989 Range Rover. Even though the engine may be older, it's proven to be quite the stout and reliable powerhouse for Ed during his journey. Then again, these older Range Rover engines are known for being quite reliable even with six-figures worth of miles are on the odometer. Recently, Ed has this Range Rover on display at the California Auto Museum where guests were able to gaze upon its overlanding glory. But now, it could be yours as it heads to auction. If you're interested, Ed notes that "there are kits to make it 6-wheel drive for about $10k and LS swap kits for $10-15k. These would make it supremely off-road capable but the vehicle is lovely to drive as it is." Set to hit SothebysMotorsport.com on December 14, 2023, this lot will most definitely have a lot of eyes on it so be sure to keep yours open for when it lands on the site. In the meantime, be sure to sign up to be a bidder so you're ready to go. Visit SothebysMotorsport.com
