Zlatan Ibrahimović Takes Delivery Of A Ferrari F80 For His 45th Birthday

Zlatan Ibrahimović turned 45 today, and he marked the occasion in familiar fashion. The retired Swedish soccer star shared a short clip on Instagram showing his Ferrari F80 continuing a birthday tradition that has added some of Maranello's most desirable modern exotics to his collection. This year's birthday present, however, has been a year in the making. Ibrahimović first revealed the F80 on his 44th birthday. Weeks before revealing the car last October, Ibrahimović visited Ferrari and met Chief Design Officer Flavio Manzoni, where he was photographed with a signed sketch of the F80.  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zlatan Ibrahimović (@zlatan)   This latest clip shows the finished hypercar, which appears to be in a dark matte gray with gloss black wheels, contrasted by yellow brake calipers and yellow Ferrari shields on the front fenders. The open butterfly doors reveal a bright yellow driver's seat. Revealed in October 2024, with production limited to just 799 examples and priced from roughly $4 million when new, the F80 is part of Ferrari's Big Six halo cars, a lineage stretching from the 288 GTO through the F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari. Its F80's hybrid powertrain produces 1,184 horsepower, combining a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with three electric motors. Ibrahimović is already well acquainted with the upper reaches of Ferrari's catalog. As we’ve previously covered, his collection includes a LaFerrari and an Enzo, and he has also been spotted driving his Monza SP2. His birthday tradition has included an SF90 Spider for his 40th, a Daytona SP3 and 812 Competizione A for his 41st, a Purosangue for his 42nd, and an SF90 XX Spider for his 43rd. The F80 is now the latest Ferrari to join Ibrahimović's annual birthday tradition. View All Ferraris for Sale Images: @zlatan

Zlatan Ibrahimović Shares Ferrari F80 Studio Visit With D...

While many of the world's greatest car collections live behind closed doors, only surfacing for rare appearances at prestigious concours events, others are constantly in the spotlight. In the case of A-list celebrities and world-renowned athletes, their garages are often just as famous as they are. With a global fanbase and more than 84.5 million followers on social media following his success on and off the soccer pitch, it's no surprise that the automotive world has uncovered Zlatan Ibrahimović's collection, and more specifically, his love for all things Ferrari. Ibrahimović recently shared a post on Instagram at Ferrari's design studio with none other than the man behind sculpting Maranello's modern marvels, Ferrari Design Director, Flavio Manzoni. Already accumulating an impressive collection of limited-production Ferrari supercars and hypercars, Zlatan's lineup currently features a recent SF90 XX Stradale, a Ferrari Purosangue, a Daytona SP3, a 812 Competizione A, a Monza SP2, and an SF90 Spider. Naturally progressing up the ranks of Ferrari's VIP owner list, the all-new 1,200-horsepower F80 is next in sight for the 43-year-old soccer sensation. And while we cannot speculate that spec'ing a Ferrari F80 was the reason for his meeting with Flavio, it is worth noting that Zlatan received a hand-drawn Ferrari F80 configuration sketch in a room surrounded by colors, materials, and other visual aids. Now enjoying his growing fleet of exclusive Ferraris, whether in Monaco's picturesque streets or on Ferrari's very own Fiorano Circuit, it's safe to say that there's always room for more in Zlatan Ibrahimović's collection.
