The New Chevy Beast Makes Its Way To SEMA 2021

The Beast by Chevy incorporates the best between off-road and performance capabilities. The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) show is where automotive driven brands showcase its best of the best when it comes to their upcoming product line. The participants at the event range from automotive manufactures to performance wheel specialists, and everywhere in between. Chevrolet is making a show-stopping appearance with the new Chevy Beast, a concept vision of the ultimate in the high-performance desert running. The Chevy Beast is a product of blending all that Chevrolet has to offer in the truck and performance sectors. Designers and engineers started with the chassis of a Silverado short-bed model and modified it for high-speed desert running. MUST-READ: First Look: LOKI Basecamp Icarus The modified Silverado chassis is powered by a Chevrolet Performance LT4 650-horsepower supercharged crate engine. A long-travel off-road suspension system is custom for the Chevy Beast to help withstand any terrain thrown its way. Inside, the customized cab has a minimalist, functional design, featuring a quartet of Recaro® performance seats with four-point harnesses, as well as a pair of 7-inch-diagonal LCD screens that monitor vehicle functions and performance data, including pitch and roll during off-road driving scenarios. The new Chevy Beast is just one of the eight new chassis that Chevrolet will have on display at SEMA 2021. Chevrolet Paces Daytona With 1,370 Horsepower

For those looking to stay ahead of the pack, Chevrolet is pacing Daytona with 1,370 horsepower. NASCAR's 2021 season starts this weekend, culminating with the 63rd running of the Great American Race. In addition to the Daytona 500, the Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series will be paced by Chevrolet. In keeping with tradition, a new Corvette for sale will lead the 500. The first mid-engine Stingray will be the 6th Corvette model to lead the field. A new Camaro SS will be seen Saturday night under the lights, and the truck race will feature a new SIlverado RST. Rapid Blue debuted as a Corvette-only color, but it looks great on its siblings. Corvette Pace Cars have a way of emptying my wallet, but our dealers will have a few for sale. Tell us how this livery looks in the comments below! Corvette For Sale Images (C) General Motors

Amelia Island Concours Highlights Mid-Engine Corvette His...

For a proper 25th Anniversary, this year's Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance highlighted mid-engine Corvette history. As a native of this tiny barrier island, I have watched Bill Warner's small gathering evolve to rival Pebble Beach in attendance and significance. Realizing over six decades of Corvette development, Chevrolet stepped up to showcase each step that led to the C8 Stingray. Amelia Island is no stranger to the Plastic Fantastic, even I have owned four examples here over the years. Not only does the 25th Anniversary of this show make me feel a little old, the world got a glimpse of Zora Duntov's dreams become reality. Back in 2003, the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton hotel was the first time all 5 original Grand Sports were together in one location and we thought that would never be overshadowed. 2020 Amelia Island Concours Recap In terms of significance, this year we saw Corvette Experimental Research Vehicles (CERV I & Cerv III) along with the 1968 Astro II. However, the most rewarding part of the show was seeing the new Corvette in person. Amelia Island is how I first experienced the world's best car magazine in person, and it led me to the best career I could ask for. Chevy Awards 2020 Corvette to MVP Stephen Strasburg

"Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie & Chevrolet" is a timeless jingle from my childhood than can't be unheard. That's because Chevrolet and Major League Baseball have a bond that is older than our grandparents. In keeping with this tradition, Chevy has awarded a 2020 Corvette to MVP Stephan Strasburg. Washington D.C. hasn't won an MLB championship since 1924, and never achieved World Series Success. If you are wondering how Stras got one before anyone else, the Red Z51 model seen behind him is a prototype. (C) Fox Sports He can hang on to it until production starts, then this little red Corvette will be disassembled to find any potential defects. Stephen will have his choice of colors and options, as the new 2020 Corvette has around 17 Million possible configurations. If you want a shot at the new car, click the button below to reserve yours, and Congratulations to the Nationals on this historic win.
