The hybrid hero of the Corvette lineup takes on Goodwood.
It’s no secret that the eighth generation of the Corvette has marked an absolutely transformational milestone for the American performance legend. The Corvette has spent decades as one of the crown jewels of American performance cars, but it was at the turn of this decade when the eighth generation, which introduced a mid-engine layout for the Corvette, fulfilling a promise that was made from the early days of the Corvette’s legacy.
However, even more milestones have been reached for the Corvette since the introduction of the eighth generation, with the new Corvette E-Ray being the first hybrid production Corvette, and also the first production Corvette with all-wheel drive. With immense power and high-tech innovation, it transforms the Corvette from a world-class American sports car to a new kind of supercar.
Now, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is currently on, and as part of the festivities, the new Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray has made its official UK debut at the event, which is now available in the UK with right-hand drive, with deliveries of the new Corvette E-Ray set to begin for UK customers in September 2025. At the festival, the new Corvette E-Ray made its entrance to the UK market, showing off its all-American performance, which is enhanced with hybrid innovation and all-wheel drive. With its hybrid excellence, the Corvette is entering a new chapter in the UK at Goodwood.
