A 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago Leads duPont REGISTRY Live Weekly Results as Platform Surpasses 160 Sales

14 Day Return Policy | 100 Percent Sell Through

duPont REGISTRY Live continues to build momentum, with 17 cars selling this week, bringing total platform sales to 164 vehicles since its launch last November. While early results were dominated by exotics, supercars, and hypercars, including six sales that surpassed a million dollars, including two Bugatti hypercars, recent weeks point to a broader shift. The platform is evolving into a more diversified marketplace, now featuring luxury cars, restomods, and enthusiast-driven machines alongside a core lineup of high-end exotic consignments.

Lots Closed: Highlights

Leading this week’s results is a low-mileage 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago LP640-4, which achieved $670,950. Finished in Blu Hera over a two-tone Blu Delphinus and Bianco Polar interior, this example shows just 1,232 miles and is presented as a highly preserved, unmodified car with original paint.

While this all-wheel drive mid-engine V12 features the E-Gear transmission as opposed to the rare factory manual, this result reflects a growing demand for analog-era V12 Lamborghinis as collectors continue to shift focus towards pre-hybrid supercars. It's the third Murcielago to cross the digital block on dR Live and came very close to another low-mileage LP640-4  that sold for $686,700 back in January.

The exotic segment remained active, led by a 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 that brought $299,250. Finished in Lugano Blue and showing just 2,600 miles, this 992.1 continues to reinforce appeal around well-specified, low-mileage Porsche GT products on dR Live. A 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider followed closely at $295,050, with its Bianco Avus over Rosso Ferrari specification and single-owner history.

An open-top 2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo (second on the platform) finished in Blu Maserati over an Ice and Blu Mondrian leather/Alcantara interior with just 726 miles on the odometer, delivered a strong result at $213,150. Meanwhile, a 2022 Ferrari Roma closed at $174,825, reflecting continued interest in front-engine V8 grand tourers.

Beyond exotics, standout results came from the restomod and custom segment, where craftsmanship and execution continue to drive value. A 1990 Porsche 911 Restomod, finished in Rubystone Red and combining classic air-cooled character with modern upgrades,  achieved $291,375.

Reimagining a classic American utility vehicle with a supercharged V8 and fully modernized underpinnings, a 1968 Chevrolet Suburban built by Relic closed at $189,000. Similarly, a 1967 Ford Mustang GT500 Tribute pairing big-block performance with a carefully executed Shelby-inspired aesthetic brought $127,050.

The enthusiast segment also delivered compelling results, highlighting the platform’s expanding reach. A 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon finished in Glacier Blue Metallic, one of just 15 produced in that color, sold for $63,525. Equipped with a supercharged LSA V8 and manual transmission, this practical family hauler continues to stand out as one of the most distinctive modern American performance cars.

At the other end of the spectrum, a pristine red NA 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata with just 495 original miles achieved $32,025, highlighting growing appreciation for low-mileage, original examples of analog sports cars that defined an era. All prices listed above include the buyer's premium. Tools like the duPont REGISTRY Garage app, which incorporate metrics such as the duPont REGISTRY Index (dRi), provide detailed insights into how these results stack up against the broader market.

Looking ahead, 16 cars are currently live on the platform. Upcoming highlights include modern track-focused machines like a Weissach-equipped 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a 2025 718 Spyder RS with just 340 miles. Porsche remains the most dominant marque in terms of sales numbers on the platform, and we currently have five on Live. Alongside a highly original 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale that represents one of Ferrari’s most focused road cars of the early 2000s. Enthusiast-focused entries include a 1990 Land Rover Range Rover and a 2016 Dodge Viper ACR, both of which appeal to a more driver-centric audience.

Custom builds remain a key part of the current catalog, led by another restomod build from Relic, this time a one-of-one 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. At the same time, the luxury segment adds further depth, with models such as a 2024 Mercedes-Maybach S680, a 2016 Mercedes-Maybach, and a 2024 Lexus LS500 offering a contrast to the performance-heavy listings. A 2024 Cadillac CTS-V Blackwing rounds out the sedan offerings.

Taken together, this week’s results reinforce a clear direction. While high-end exotics continue to anchor headline sales, the platform’s real growth is now being driven by diversity. Restomods, analog performance cars, and modern enthusiast favorites are increasingly shaping the market, bringing in a wider audience and strengthening duPont REGISTRY Live’s position as a full-spectrum digital auction platform.
