Another action-packed week unfolded on duPont REGISTRY Live, with hypercars, top-tier exotics and classics crossing the digital auction block. Three results surpassed seven figures, led by a single-owner Porsche Carrera GT in Guards Red, which achieved $4,015,200. Four mid-engined Ferrari results represented different chapters of Maranello’s modern history,  while the final Hale Collection entries closed out the 10-car consignment. Looking ahead, we have an equally exciting lineup of cars for the coming week, led by not one, but four modern V12 Lamborghinis, including one that has three pedals and Rear Wheel Drive.

Lots Closed: Highlights

Fourteen cars closed this past week on duPont REGISTRY Live, led by a single-owner, U.S.-market 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. Finished in Guards Red over a black leather interior with roughly 5,600 miles, brought $4,015,200*.

A Porsche halo car through and through, the Carrera GT already makes a compelling case as the definitive analog supercar of the 2000s. Its appeal today all comes down to the driving experience. A motorsport-bred V10 that produces a phenomenal soundtrack, and crucially, a six-speed manual transmission, all with relatively little electronic intervention. This particular example added the provenance, specification and completeness that separate an exceptional car from a merely good one.

Color was also a key part of this car’s appeal. Guards Red is one of Porsche’s most recognizable shades, yet it is believed to appear on only about 80 Carrera GTs worldwide, including 42 delivered to the United States, with the overall production run of just 1,270 units globally.  Inside, the less common carbon-fiber shift knob replaces the familiar 917-inspired beechwood piece fitted to most examples. Graham Rahal Performance completed comprehensive servicing and outstanding recall work before the auction, while two keys, fitted luggage and owner’s books accompanied the car.

This result also finished just 0.5 percent above the car’s $3,996,662 vehicle-specific duPont REGISTRY Index (dRi) value. It is especially striking against the Carrera GT’s original MSRP of $448,000: the closing figure was nearly nine times that amount, all when CGTs could still be acquired for $2 million or less as recently as 2024.

Much like its contemporary, the Ferrari Enzo, the Carrera GT too has steadily moved far beyond its original price as collectors increasingly favor low-production, analog-era halo cars. The model’s public-auction record belongs to a Gulf Blue example that reached $6,715,000 at Amelia Island earlier this year.  This Guards Red car now ranks third among recorded public-auction results for the model. For a closer look at the Carrera GT’s rise, read our in-depth market spotlight.

The CGT result completes the three-car spotlight that also featured the MSO McLaren Senna and Ferrari F12tdf Atelier. Following the Senna’s appearance in last week’s recap, the 1,600-mile 2017 F12tdf reached $3,596,250*, one of the highest results achieved for the model. Its Atelier specification pairs Bianco Avus paint with an extended Blu Nart livery, while members of Ferrari’s assembly team signed the engine cover.

A 2024 Rimac Nevera made the Croatian marque’s dR Live debut with a $1,352,400* result.  Finished in a bespoke purple exterior over a black Alcantara interior with lime green accents, this car is #69 of 150 planned examples with 3,788 miles. The all-electric hypercar’s quad-motor powertrain produces 1,914 horsepower and launches the Nevera from zero to 60 mph in 1.8 seconds. Originally specified by Steve Hamilton of the Hamilton Collection, this car also features founder Mate Rimac’s signature across the dashboard.

Besides the F12 TDF, four mid-engined Ferraris also went under the hammer on dR Live. A 2004 Rosso Scuderia 360 Challenge Stradale with full-body PPF brought $625,800*, a 2008 430 Scuderia Nero example followed at $598,500*, continuing the recent flow of lightweight, mid-engined Ferraris that have surfaced on the platform. A 2005 F430 Spider hit $233,100*, while a gated-manual 1990 348 TS Targa fetched $149,100*. Color, transmission, and mileage remain some of the key value drivers for modern mid-engine Ferraris.

Two modern GM manuals also closed with a single-owner, 2,800-mile 2009 C6 Corvette ZR1 reaching $130,725*, while a six-speed 2026 CT5-V Blackwing fetched $159,075*. Together, they represent the ultimate performance model of the C6 generation and one of the final V8-powered sedans to pack a manual transmission.

The final 10-Car Hale Collection entries included the twin-Paxton-supercharged 1966 Shelby GT350 at $315,000*. It ranked third within the collection behind the Ford GT at $672,000* and a Dodge Viper ACR Extreme at $449,400*. The remaining Hale Collection results included the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air at $75,075*, and the 1978 Triumph Spitfire at $17,325*. Rounding out the highlights are a 997 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet at $109,725*, and a 2020 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Wagon at $74,550*.

10 cars are currently open for bidding, with Italian exotics dominating the docket. Four naturally aspirated modern V12 Lamborghinis lead the lineup, including three that we spotlighted earlier this week, while an Aventador SVJ Roadster has since joined.

A 2015 Lamborghini Aventador, finished in Giallo Tenerife and with roughly 9,000 miles, is currently bid to $290,000 with three days remaining, while a 2006 Lamborghini Murciélago in Giallo Orion is at $232,000 with three days to go as well. This example has been converted to rear-wheel drive and fitted with an EAG gated manual, giving it a distinctly more mechanical character.

The open-top entries include a 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 Roadster in Balloon White, currently at $41,000 with five days remaining, while a 2020 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster finished in Ad Personam Viola Pasifae is currently bid to $253,500 with six days remaining. It represents the most focused expression of the Aventador among this week’s four Lamborghini consignments.

Ferrari is represented this week by three very different naturally aspirated cars. A 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider with a factory gated manual and Daytona seats is at $133,333 with three days remaining. A 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB with the HGTE package and about 12,500 miles is at $105,000, while a 2013 Ferrari 458 Italia in Argento Nürburgring, currently at $80,500, with both having five days to go.

Onto German heavyweights and a 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in AMG Alubeam Silver, with just 196 miles, is bid to $310,000 with three days remaining. With its naturally aspirated V8, long-hood proportions, and dramatic gullwing doors, the SLS offers collectors a more attainable modern connection to the iconic 300 SL lineage. Also open is an Oak Green Metallic 992.2 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S with lightweight seats and Porsche’s new T-Hybrid powertrain, now bid to $51,500 with five days remaining.

Finally, a late addition and outlier to the docket is an enthusiast favorite with rally pedigree: a 2015 Subaru WRX STI with the legendary boxer engine paired with a six-speed manual. This example is one of 25 ESX Red Dragon Editions produced.
