Cars & Coffee Palm Beach January 2020 Recap

Cars & Coffee Palm Beach, the world's largest monthly cars and coffee event, kicked off 2020 with a huge celebration at Palm Beach Outlets. The event, which is presented by Adam's Polishes with support from Off Lease Only and Blackout Coffee Co., attracted over 3100 display vehicles and more than 30,000 spectators who enjoyed cars, coffee, vendors, stores, giveaways, charities, and more. Highlights included: 1. Vanilla Ice (aka Robert Van Winkle) joined the Fast Muscle Cars of South Florida display to unveil his newly restored 5.0 Mustang from the original "Ice Ice Baby" video. Before the sun came up that morning, the star arrived with his iconic ride which had just completed a six figure restoration with Extreme Performance.   (Photo by Cars Computers Cameras) 2. Crowds drove from all over Florida and surrounding states to meet Vanilla Ice, see him "rolling in THE 5.0," and hear about his upcoming TV projects including Mystical Rides with Vanilla Ice, which debuts on History Channel later this year.   (Photo by Palm Beach Dyno)  3. It was pure star power plus art in motion as the Apollo IE Golden Dragon and Black Dragon hypercars drove into place on the Showcase Corner. The two of only 10 in the world came to Palm Beach as part of their U.S. tour. The look and sounds of their arrival were truly stunning.   (Photo by Mike Streltsov) 4. Adam's Polishes ensured that both Apollo masterpieces were sparkling clean in the Florida sun, as showgoers enjoyed the rare opportunity to see the Dragons together. Their carbon fiber and gold body, cockpit, and wheels were described by spectators as "out-of-this-world."   (Photo by Black & Yellow Photos)  5. The Apollo team spoke with countless enthusiasts, explained the hypercars' amazing details and design, and even took a few minutes to peruse duPont REGISTRY.   (Photo by Black & Yellow Photos) 6. From every angle, the Apollo IE Dragons were intensely aerodynamic, artistic, menacing, and mesmerizing.  (Photo by Tom Dowd)  7. Neil London and Supercar Week also assembled an array of jaw-dropping vehicles on the Showcase Corner, including a Bugatti Chiron owned by Tim & Christine Schmidt (aka Hapy Hipi & Ms Hipi).  (Photo by Norm Morton/Automobile Heaven)  8. One of the younger fans must have seen Hapy Hipi reading his copy of duPont REGISTRY and decided to do the same in his own mini Bugatti.  (Photo by Cars Computers Cameras) 9. Who says a caravan's lead car has to be boring? Hapy Hipi led his entourage with a show-stopping Rolls Royce Drophead.  (Photo by Norm Morton/Automobile Heaven) 10. Apollo's lead vehicle was also a major head-turner worthy of the cars it escorted into the event.  (Photo by Norm Morton/Automobile Heaven) 11. Speaking of leading the pack, three 2020 GT 500 Mustangs, including the certified fastest and quickest to date, arrived at the venue before dawn. With Palm Beach Dyno and Rarefab flags in tow, they certainly pleased showgoers with a need for speed.  (Photo by Cars Computers Cameras)  12. Of course, it's hard to find anything on wheels faster than the Larsen Motorsports jet cars. Their pre-dawn set-up included a classic Corvette with a jet engine, along with an interactive family area with fun, inspiring, and educational activities.  (Photo by TonyNap CAR-Tography)  13. Fortunately for the early risers, Blackout Coffee Co. is the Official Coffee Sponsor for Cars & Coffee Palm Beach 2020. The local, family-owned and operated roasting company made sure showgoers had free samples and lots of delicious coffee products to keep them energized throughout the morning.  (Photo by Keith Chisholm)  14. MLB Player Derek Dietrich, former Marlin and current Cincinnati Reds 2nd baseman, greeted fans in the duPont REGISTRY Exotics & Luxury Area and showed off his custom Audi R8.  (Photo by Cars & Coffee Palm Beach)  15. The world's leading electric skateboard company, Fiik, captured lots of attention with their electric boards and drifters, as well as a BMW i8 wrapped in Fiik logos.  (Photo by Black & Yellow Photos)  16. Over 385 custom, modified, and collector BMWs from all over Florida were in the house, thanks to Miguel Bimmer's BMW Invasion with co-hosts Florida Fine Cars, Off Lease Only, German Line Performance, Euromotive Performance, Orlando Bimmer Club, Miami Bimmer Club, and Tampa Bimmer Club.  (Photo by Florida Fine Cars)  17. TLM Racing headlined the BMW Feature Sidewalk with a couple of their fierce BMW race cars.  (Photo by TLM Racing)  18. Impressive German machines were everywhere you turned, including Bill Mazzoni's Carrera GT.  (Photo by Jason Fields)  19. A head-turning Ford GT added a little American flavor to the duPont REGISTRY Exotics Area's open parking section.  (Photo by Cars Computers Cameras)  20. Aston Martin Palm Beach and Jaguar Palm Beach represented British luxury at its finest in the duPont REGISTRY Exotics & Luxury Feature Area.  (Photo by Florida Fine Cars)  21. Of course, McLaren Palm Beach joined them at center stage with some of their latest and greatest supercar specs.  (Photo by Nolan Eusebio)    22. Even Land Rover Palm Beach got into the duPont REGISTRY spirit.  (Photo by Black & Yellow Photos)  23. Also showing spirit, Seminole Ridge JROTC Hawk Battalion recruited a few remarkable military vehicles for display as part of their fundraising efforts. Legendary 1941 Jeep Row joined their campaign to promote the group's local school, JROTC program, and important activities--which rely on public support for funding.  (Photo by Tom Dowd)  24. Not all camouflage was meant to hide, which some of the custom wraps proved quite well. As usual, 9automotion hosted an array of exciting Porsches, representing a huge variety of models, vintages, and customizations.  (Photo by Jason Fields)  25. Also in force in the duPont REGISTRY Exotics & Luxury Area were groups of Vipers and GTRs, each with impressive horsepower, growls, colors, and modifications.  (Photo by Tom Dowd)   26. There were so many vehicles in the duPont REGISTRY Area that some like the "Venom" Viper double-parked in front of Nick's Tune-Ups & Towels and My Hope Health--both very welcoming places to park!  (Photo by Jason Fields)  27. Once parked, many vehicle owners and passengers took some time to flip through the complimentary copies of duPont REGISTRY Magazine.  (Photos by Cars Computers Cameras)  28. Naturally, squads of Lamborghinis were quite the distraction for the majority of showgoers, but isn't that why they come to the event in the first place?  (Photo by Richard Mason Hughes)   29. Crews of custom exotic cars seemed to be everywhere you turned.  (Photo by Black & Yellow Photos)   30. Signature Autohaus & Signature Rallies' AMG usually leads the pack to events and the "trooper" was the perfect pace car once again.  (Photo by Nolan Eusebio)  31. While the show was inundated with remarkable German machines, Italian Ferraris were not underrepresented at the event either.  (Photo by Norm Morton/Automobile Heaven)  32.  A variety of Ferrari models and vintages graced the duPont REGISTRY parking area and Showcase Corner.  (Photo by Tom Dowd)  33. Luis Ignacio's DeLorean returned for its final show before it resumes its Caribbean and other U.S. travels. It will be missed in South Florida!  (Photo by Cars Computers Cameras)  34. Another modern throwback and crowd favorite was Backdraft Racing and their hand-built, classic-style machines packed with today's technology.  (Photo by Norm Morton/Automobile Heaven)  35. There was absolutely something for everyone and every type of vehicle enthusiast.  (Photo by Sean Valley)  The next Cars & Coffee Palm Beach is approaching FAST: Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Palm Beach Outlets, 8am-12pm. 'Roos Ruin 12 Hours of Bathurst

It is Summer down under, and the recent fires have forced animals to find new homes. In this massive marsupial migration, Kangaroos ruined the 12 hours of Bathurst. Epic footage of this season's GT3 cars idling along is accompanied by hilarious Aussie color commentators. One Roo turned off traction control at 0:25, but quickly recovered to 2nd place. duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee January 2020

Our first show of the new year was spent with dozens of clients and thousands of friends. It was my 100th time working this show since August of 2011, and undoubtedly the best January weather in over a decade. Since it coincided with the Scottsdale auctions, we had to improvise to keep the experience organized, and we couldn't have done it without our clients: Dimmit Automotive McLaren Tampa Lamborghini Sarasota Paddock 1 European Exotic Center Tuscany Motor Company Ferman Auto Group It wouldn't be Cars & Coffee without the hot brew, so we have to give a big thanks to the Banyan Odessey. They are based in Largo, Florida, and their goal is to create opportunities and a community for the handi-capable. If you couldn't make it out, you missed a brilliant replica of the 1965 Ford GT. Two Hummers who saw action overseas looked ready to fight, from their comm systems to the 50 Cal. Brownings. Tuscany's new Badlander outmaneuvered them to take the high ground. Tell us your favorite in the comments below, and we'll see you next month! See More Photos Here! " width="680">
