2019 duPont REGISTRY Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale After Party

If you are heading to Scottsdale for this year's Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, you should spend Friday night with us. Our 5th Annual Auction After Party will take over the Wet Deck and the Shade Lounge of the W Scottsdale on January 18th. The desert can be chilly at night, but we will have hot music and some of the biggest names in the automotive world. The Valet parking spots will be filled by hypercars, which are illuminated by a skylight that forms the bottom of the pool. Bottles popping and beats bumping is a great way to prepare for Barrett-Jackson's weekend highlights. This isn't a party, it is THE Party! Doors open at 9PM, & as you can probably imagine, this party fills up quickly. To make sure your name is on the list, please call 602-405-0099, or email vip@spellboundeg.com BOOK A ROOM

duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee: December 2018

Our monthly gathering was on a winning streak in terms of weather. But our luck ran out with a warm front over the weekend. Nevertheless, our regular fans know how much Toys for Tots does for less fortunate kids. We assembled in the garage around 6 am to replicate the tables and tents that are normally outside. Inside the showroom were a few of the duPont REGISTRY employees that looked more festive than usual. That was thanks to Shinesty, who hooked the team up with some slick holiday suits. They have a lot of other great suits in stock as well, so be sure to check them all out at Shinesty.com. T & T Coffee Roasters had planned to be outside, but the downpour hampered their efforts. They joined us at the entrance to our showroom along with our friends from European Exotic Center. Despite the showers, our parking lot was a mix of daily drivers and exotics. A Porsche GT3 RS along with a decent contingent of Corvettes and Camaros braved the elements. The roads were relatively empty, so five of Sheriff Gualtieri's officers decided to join us. We couldn't do this without them, so a big thanks to all of our local law enforcement. You might have noticed the new colors of our headquarters because the paint from 2011 had turned a whiter shade of pale. A big thanks to everyone who brought toys, including our friends from Reeve's, Bert Smith, and Crown Eurocars for coming out. We're looking forward to bigger and better shows in 2019, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Years from all of us at duPont Registry.

Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2018 Recap

For their final auction of the 2018 Season, Barrett-Jackson had the hottest action on the Las Vegas Strip. Our booth was next to Shelby American, and we were able to enjoy the event with old friends. The 3-day event came to an end Saturday night, with a record total of $32.9 Million in sales. With a sell-through rate of 100%, Craig Jackson and his team found new homes for 733 cars and 400 pieces of automobilia.Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2018 PreviewCelebrities and athletes pushed prices to unprecedented levels. This was easily seen in a 1997 Acura Integra Type R that sold for $63,800. Other highlights included a Porsche 918 for $1.76 Million and a 2018 McLaren 720S for $352,000. A 1999 example of the Shelby Series1 sold for $205,000, shocking everyone in the crowd! We couldn't do this without our clients, so Fusion Luxury Motors displayed a Corvette-powered Defender next to their new line of aircraft-inspired furniture. Their other stunner was a Widebody Ferrari 488 GTB. Lamborghini of Las Vegas allowed us to display a new Huracan Performante next to a new Aventador, and Ronald McDonald House was selling raffle tickets to their wild 1969 Camaro. A new Vanderhall Venice Speedster next to a new Airstream Interstate allowed us to offer something for everyone. Our hats are off to Z-Clip and Tire Stickers.com who has been supporting our events for years. This marks the end of Barrett-Jackson's 47th year in the business and it only gets bigger every year. duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee: August 2018

It has rained almost every day over the past two months. Summer in Florida means 5 minutes of monsoon weather followed by 100% humidity. But the skies were clear on Saturday, so our lots were packed by 7 am. Both of the local Corvette and Camaro clubs arrived before sunrise, along with our stalwart fans who never miss this show. The real treat was in meeting first-timers. Car lovers who had no idea we put on the biggest monthly car show in the Southeast. Every one of them asked us what time to arrive, and it has moved back our start time by almost an hour. Normal exotics were in seen in big numbers, and the quantity of customized Lamborghinis and Porsches blew us away.An Army Airborne veteran opened the hood on his yellow Stingray to show a gorgeous painting. The mural showcases Paratrooper history from WWII to Enduring Freedom. Across from him was a numbers-matching 1964 Impala that will soon get a makeover.Another high-profile machine was the off-road Dodge Charger from Furious 7. Built by Dennis McCarthy, it is an example of his work that can be seen across 5 of the Fast & Furious films. If your collection needs a movie star, click here for all the details. Our dealers lined up on both sides of our south lot, and we are always indebted to them for never missing a show. Next to a vintage Pinellas County Dodge Diplomat were: Reeves Import Motorcars, Crown Eurocars, Bert Smith, McLaren of Tampa Bay, and Ferrari of Tampa Bay. Their latest arrival is a new Portofino, and it was stunning to see in the morning light, 2019 Ferrari Portofino from Ferrari of Tampa BayT & T Coffee Roasters was here with their latest blends, and we couldn't do it without them. Our volunteers and fans that help out really make this event worthwhile, so our hats are off to you.
