Powering the car is a powerful twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine that is capable of around 550 hp. Now, if you're familiar with Ferrari's engines, you know that the fact that the 488 is turbocharged is a pretty big deal. Not only do the turbos break tradition (not including the F40), they add power and allow cars like the 488 GT3 to make some of the most lovely turbo noises.
YouTuber 19Bozzy92 was recently at the Monza Circuit, filming two 488 GT3s as they quickly made their way through the corners. If the turbo flutter this race car makes doesn't give you even the slightest bit of chills, then you may need to turn your speakers up some more.
