Traditionally, buying a car ends the moment you grab the keys and drive off the lot, only returning to the dealership on your next service visit, but with Ferrari, it doesn’t stop there. Entering the realm of Enzo and an ownership that's better recognized as a feeling of family, after-sales is exactly where owners start experiencing what it means to be a part of Ferrari. Whether it's organized rallies and track days where you can unleash the full performance of these supercars and hypercars, or a more intimate gathering where owners can converse about what drives their passion for the brand, there’s a sense of community that goes beyond delivery day.
The team at Ferrari of Newport Beach is proud to be that link for owners, recently co-hosting an incredible event showcasing pinnacle Maranello models, captured in incredible imagery by photographer Mike Noga.
Set under the showroom lights of Finish Line Auto Club in Costa Mesa, California, the night of fuel-driven festivities welcomed what could only be best described as a timeline of Ferrari’s very best. From end to end, the space was lined with timeless classics like the Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari F40, Ferrari Enzo, and Ferrari 599 GTO, and that doesn’t even include what was stored inside each garage bay.
On the more modern front were multiple Ferrari LaFerrari (and LaFerrari Aperta) specs, as well as other special series cars like the Ferrari F12tdf and Ferrari 812 Competizione (and Competizione A). Some of the Italian marque’s direct roots to racing even made an appearance in the form of the latest SF90 XX Stradale, proving that on or off the track, these cars are meant to be enjoyed anywhere and everywhere.
But the real star of the show, the all-new Ferrari 849 Testarossa, sat at the front of them all, almost as the frontrunner representing both the next chapter and the future of the brand. The low-slung 849 Testarossa showcased a stunning Bianco finish with tons of exposed carbon that extends to its two-tone carbon and paint-matched wheels. For many, it was a first look at Ferrari’s latest-and-greatest, and for others, it was a peek at what’s to come very soon.
All in all, the night was just a glimpse into something you don’t always get to see and appreciate from a car brand, which is what ownership and passion look like when you buy that Ferrari you’ve always wanted.
