5 Rare Ferraris For Sale At Ferrari Quebec
Some of the greatest Prancing Horses are in the same stable. There’s no doubt that Ferrari has made some incredible cars. Having a car in your collection that is rare and special by the standards of a storied manufacturer like Ferrari is a surefire way to take your garage to the next level, and at Ferrari of Quebec, not one, nor two, but five of Ferrari’s most incredible creations are available for sale, all rare, powerful, unique, and undeniably beautiful. 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO The first is the 2011 599 GTO. Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, which is one of the many stunning V12-powered, front-engined Ferrari grand tourers, the GTO is the 599’s most potent street-legal version with 661 horsepower, sitting just below the track-only 599 XX. Only 599 of these cars were made, and it’s one of three models to have the hallowed GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato) name. Certified 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Spider For Sale
Presented by Ferrari of Houston - When Ferrari decided to send the 488 to the track, it quickly gained the adoration of drivers the world over. Using lessons learned in making it to victory lane, the factory decided to adapt a few track-inspired upgrades to the convertible, and that is why we offer this certified 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Spider for sale. In order to offer more power, the Pista only shares a handful of parts with the normal 488 series. Starting with more power, engineers bestowed it with aggressive cams, more boost, titanium rods, and Inconel exhaust. At your command will be 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. The mirrors might be the same, but nearly every body part was sculpted to cut through the air. Even with the powered folding hardtop, this Spider is the first convertible in Ferrari's history to be lighter than its coupe counterpart. Even the wheels alone are 20% lighter, offering a smooth ride and incredible response in the corners. The icing on the cake is the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer. This new system allows side slip at incredible angles by careful brake modulation. Because allocations for the Pista Spider are difficult to obtain, the owner decided to go all-in. Utilizing every ability of their Ferrari Atelier, the team at Ferrari of Houston decided to make history. Starting with Grigio Ferro Metallic, this historic livery has a color change and it is extended to the interior. The special features on the window sticker continue with the Italian Flag, special threads, special leather, floor mats, seat belts, and other items you never knew could be customized. Needless to say, the time and money it took to build this car make it impossible to replicate. Ferrari Pista Sets Amazing Lap Time at the 'Ring
Enzo Ferrari lived in style. His home was located in the infield of their famous Fiorano test track. That's why he didn't care much for lap times on foreign soil. To find out just how capable their latest model is, our friends at Sport Auto recorded a Ferrari Pista setting an amazing lap time at the 'Ring. Without the budget for weeks of hot laps, Editor-In-Chief Christian Gebhardt slapped on new tires and prepared to make history. He crossed the line at 7:00.03, making it one of the fastest street-legal cars in production. Click the link below to experience one for yourself and stay with us for all your Ferrari news. Ferrari 488 Pista Price, Specs, Photos & Review
Ferrari 488 Pista Price Each evolution of Ferrari's mid-engine flagship seems to leave its predecessor in the dust. Such is the case when you consider a Ferrari 488 Pista for sale. That is because the Ferrari 488 Pista price is a fraction of what it cost to build. Innovations made in the engine and aerodynamics are amortized across the Ferrari lineup. Not only does this make the 488 Pista price affordable in this segment, but it also allows you to enjoy the abilities of a supercar without the sticker shock. The Ferrari 488 Pista MSRP allows you to spend a few dollars on special options. You deserve embroidered headrests and contrast stitching. Ferrari 488 Pista Review "Pista" translates to "track", and that is its purpose. In order to create a track-focused machine, all non-essential weight was cut. The hood, fenders and rear deck are carbon fiber. Transitioning away from aluminum has been a gradual process, and it has allowed for a curb weight of 3,053 lbs. Losing weight and gaining power transform the accelerator into a brutal instrument. Less weight also allowed engineers to stiffen the suspension. Turn-ins are razor-sharp, and "Race" mode enables the magnetic shocks to keep the car level in the corners. The Ferrari 488 Pista unveiled the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer. It uses the 6th generation of their Side Slip Control. Known internally as SSC 6.0, it incorporates the shocks, brake force distribution, and stability control into a cohesive system. Ferrari 488 Pista Specs Some enthusiasts will tell you that a car this beautiful speaks for itself. Nevertheless, in order to give you a proper understanding of the Ferrari 488 Pista, we need to examine the Ferrari 488 Pista specs in detail. The car borrows many parts from the Ferrari 488 GT3 program, so it is closer to a track car than a streetcar. With ample power and active aerodynamics, the Ferrari 488 Pista top speed is 211 mph. Given a set of drag radials and a quick reaction time, the Ferrari 488 Pista 0-60 is 2.9 seconds. Price: $350,000 Engine: 3.9-liter Twin-turbo V8 Transmission: 7-speed dual-clutch Horsepower: 710 hp Torque: 586 0-60 mph: 2.9s 1/4 mile: 10.1 @144 mph Top Speed: 211 mph Ferrari 488 Pista Engine As we mentioned above, the Ferrari 488 Pista engine has more in common with their racing program than a regular production Ferrari 488 engine. Starting at the top, the heads are optimized for better flow. This allows maximum torque of 586 lb-ft to arrive at only 3,000 rpm. The headers and downpipes are handmade from Inconel-X. Needing to be heat resistant, it is the same material used in the Saturn V engine nozzles. They feed dual-scroll billet turbochargers with CNC-machined one-piece shafts. Ferrari Unveils 488 Pista Piloti Edition The pistons were domed to raise the compression ratio to 9.6:1. They ride on titanium rods that are 40% lighter than steel. This loss in reciprocating weight allowed the crankshaft to lose 37 lbs. This allows for instant response and no turbo lag. The camshaft profiles are more aggressive to the exhaust side. This keeps the turbine pressurized. Computer-controlled wastegates snap shut in the twinkling of an eye. This prevents any turbo-lag when your right foot demands action. Ferrari 488 Pista Transmission With such a substantial increase in power, it would be a death sentence for their normal 7-speed Dual-Clutch automatic. So they started with new clutch packs for even and odd gears. The ratios were customized to the new powerband, and each gear is motivated by the strongest servos on the market. This allows the Ferrari 488 Pista Transmission to shift gears in 30 milliseconds. It is needless to say that Ferrari has perfected the dual-clutch gearbox. It is a mistake to not offer a manual transmission, but finding a six-speed capable of handling this power proved to be unfeasible. Ferrari 488 Pista Interior To achieve their target curb weight, the Ferrari 488 Pista interior is spartan. The standard options are Alcantara for the seats and dash. You will not have carpet or any sound insulation. It does have a basic infotainment system and Air Conditioning, but not much more. The seats can accept a 6-point racing harness, and they are not powered. Visibility is decent, and the carbon fiber weave of the dash is perfect. Behind the seats is a small cargo net, and there is a nice amount of cargo space under the hood. Ferrari 488 Pista Brakes One meter can be the difference between life and death. That is why the Ferrari 488 Pista brakes are the largest they have ever offered. The front rotors measure 15.6", with 14.1" on the rear wheels. All four brake lines are controlled by the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer. It uses solenoids to individually apply the appropriate force to each caliper. In wet mode, pre-fill keeps the pads dry by gently wiping rain off of the rotor. Brake bias left to right works in conjunction with the electronic differential. It will allow you to hold a corner like never before, definitely a confidence booster! We would like to see steel rotors available for track days, so perhaps the aftermarket will surprise us. Ferrari 488 Pista Aerodynamics Explained Ferrari 488 Pista Standout Features It comes as a shock when people notice the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. To offer a convertible version of your best car is nearly unprecedented. To have the wind in your hair, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider can drop its top in 14 seconds. It can be raised or lowered up to 30 mph, and it offers a coupe-like silhouette. Only a trained eye will notice the separation seams for the top. Another Ferrari 488 Pista standout feature is offering 20 mpg on the highway. City mileage is 15 mpg, not bad considering the Ferrari 488 Pista specs. Normally, most Ferraris arrive with aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires. The Ferrari 488 Pista offers carbon fiber wheels that are 40% lighter than the base model forged wheels. Michelin developed a specific compound for each corner. On the front are 245/35/20, with 305/30/20 on the rear. Browse Ferrari 488 Pista For Sale " width="680">
