Ferrari 812 Superfast & 488 GTB vs 1,200 HP Nissan GT-R &...

If dry land were divided like a pizza, Russia gets an entire slice. That's because Putin's Playground occupies one-eighth of the Earth's land. With so much territory, our friends at DragTimesInfo organize wild 500-meter drag races. While most tracks in the U.S. are set up for a quarter-mile (1,320 feet), Russians race to 1,640 feet (0.31 miles). At these speeds, aerodynamics are more important than torque or horsepower, so let's see what happens when a Ferrari 812 Superfast & 488 GTB take on a 1,200 horsepower Nissan GT-R & McLaren 720S. We know the GT-R is heavily modified, but can its boosted V6 outmaneuver Ferrari's twin-turbo V8 or their V12 Flagship? Because all McLarens are built around a carbon fiber cockpit, the 720S is the lightest contender at 3,139 lbs. The Ferrari 488 GTB is only 113 lbs heavier, while the 812 Superfast and the GT-R hover around 3,850 lbs. It is also worth noting that (in stock form) each car has a unique differential ratio. After the 1/4 mile, a few of them shift into overdrives before the finish line. Tell us which car you prefer in the comments below, and stay with us for all your exotic racing videos. NOVITEC Unveils N-Largo Ferrari 812 Superfast

If your Ferrari needs to stand out from the crowd, allow us a minute of your time. The 812 series is already potent, but there is always room for improvement. That is why our friends at NOVITEC have unveiled the N-Largo Ferrari 812 Superfast. Starting where the rubber meets the road, they partnered with our friends at Vossen for 21"x10" wheels up front and 22"x 12.5" on the rear. Yes, running a 335 mm rear tire would certainly be outside the body, that is why the N-Largo has carbon fiber bodywork all around. The suspension geometry is retained for the ultimate look and performance. Even the front axle lift was calibrated to work with the new shoes. Your choice of stainless or Inconel exhaust will bump the horsepower to 840. This will launch you to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 214 mph. The exhaust and engine tuning is available separately if you don't need the new body lines. Also optional is the interior. NOVITEC's skilled team can craft a new interior from Alcantara or leather to your heart's content. Ferrari 812 Superfast Scorches the Nurburgring

Enzo Ferrari demanded the very best of his race team and his street cars. That is why he built the Fiorano test track around his home in 1971. Since then, catching a Ferrari testing in Germany has been a rare sight. That's why we loved watching a Ferrari 812 Superfast Nurburgring lap time of 7:27.48. In the latest upload by the German magazine Sport Auto, we see their test driver Christian Gebbhardt dominating the old north loop. The Italian stallion is powered by a 6.5L V12, the latest evolution of the Type 140 that debuted in the Enzo. It has evolved to include active cam timing, more compression and an active intake manifold. Although it doesn't have the fancy AWD used by many competitors, the rear wheel steering keeps it glued to the track. If you think you can handle it, our dealers have several to choose from. Ferrari 812 Superfast Passes Cars at 200 mph on Autobahn

The Ferrari 812 Superfast acts as the V12 successor to the F12berlinetta and it's better in almost every way. It's 6.5-liter V12 engine pumps out serious power that's rated at 789 horsepower and 529 lb-ft of torque. Ferrari notes that it's “the most powerful and fastest Ferrari in the marque’s history.” Don't Miss: Ferrari 812 Superfast Price, Specs, Review To prove Ferrari's quote, YouTube Channel hartvoorautoNL took the 812 Superfast out for a spin on the Autobahn. You know about that Autobahn, right? That's the stretch of road where you can go blazingly fast and test the limits of both you and your car. Behind the wheel of the supercar, they tried to take it to its top speed, which is noted to be over 211 mph. At their height of excitement, they managed to reach 319 km/h (198 mph). While that's not the top speed of the Ferrari, it's still insanely fast for a public road. Check out the video below and let us know if you think you could handle this kind of speed on the Autobahn in the comments below. New Ferrari 812 For Sale
