The Ferrari Daytona SP3 Wins Red Dot: Best of The Best Aw...

Ferrari’s iconic design continues to get recognized for its beauty and innovation. The new Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a supercar that is inspired by Ferrari’s past, but also a part of the brand’s future, with incredible looks, Formula 1 technology, and a 0-60 time of less than 2.85 seconds, thanks to a V12 engine that can rev to an amazing 9500 rpm. The car won the prestigious Red Dot: Best of The Best award for 2022 at the Red Dot: Product Design awards. MUST READ: What are the world's best supercars? FIND OUT The Daytona SP3 won for its incredibly unique styling that both authentically pays homage to the 1960s Ferrari race cars that dominated in Daytona, and pushes Ferrari’s design language forward as the brand continues to grow, innovate, and maintain its standing as one of the world’s most important, prestigious, and sought after automotive brands. The large, dramatic curves and striking rear light bar are just a couple of the Daytona SP3’s aspects that can only be seen on cars like Ferraris, which are able to completely dedicate themselves to performance, passion, and style. That’s why Ferrari has won the prestigious Red Dot award 7 times, previously with the FFX-K, the 488 GTB, the J50, Portofino, Monza SP1, the Daytona SP3’s “Icona'' series predecessor, and the SF90 Stradale. All of these cars, like most Ferraris, are aspired to for a great many reasons, and design is just one. View All Ferraris For Sale Source: Ferrari

The New Ferrari Daytona SP3 Shows Face In Maranello In Th...

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 made a decidedly quick appearance in Maranello. Ferrari’s upcoming Daytona SP3, part of the Icona series alongside the Monza SP1 and SP2, is an incredible limited-edition supercar that pays homage to Ferrari’s racing history and its eponymous racing circuit. The design of the car, from its looks to its powertrain, is a beautiful homage to the 60s Ferrari race cars that together completely shut out the podium at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. MUST READ: Gucci Mane Takes Delivery Of His New Ferrari LaFerrari In The ‘Publicity Stunt’ Music Video The car, scantily camouflaged, was spotted in Maranello in all of its rear-mid engined, V12 glory. However, using its 829 horsepower, which makes it the most powerful non-electrified Ferrari, it quickly evaded the view of the cameras. With such a small glimpse of what the Daytona SP3 will be like, this clip is barely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the car being able to get to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds, and having a top speed of 211 mph, which makes it Ferrari’s fastest road-going model yet. With gorgeous looks that combine vintage heritage with cutting-edge futurism, and performance like we've never seen from Ferrari before, we can't wait for deliveries to start later this year. Daytona SP3 01

Ferrari Daytona SP3 Revealed: Inspired by Legends

Ferrari's most aerodynamic car ever. The new Ferrari Daytona SP3 has been unveiled as the automaker's third entrant into their Icona line. Inspired by the 330 P3/4, the 312 P and the 350 Can-Am, the new Daytona SP3 has a wild design that is honestly unlike anything in Ferrari's lineup. But it's not just looks that make it so special, it also is packed with power. Powering the new Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the same 6.5-liter V12 from the 812 Competizione, but it's been tinkered with quite a bit. The result of Ferrari's enhancements to the engine comes out to 828 horsepower and 514 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful engine the automaker has ever built. Ferrari notes that it will be able to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 2.86 seconds and will sprint from 0 to 124 mph in 7.4 seconds. To allow the Ferrari Daytona SP3 to truly take advantage of its engine's power, the engineers have equipped the supercar with the company's most aerodynamically efficient body ever. What's more, Ferrari managed this feat without having to implement active aero. But the body is more than just an efficient creation, it's also downright gorgeous and unlike anything currently in Ferrari's lineup. The wheel arches in the front and rear and clearly inspired by the classic models and give the Daytona SP3 a very muscular appearance. But the most intriguing and exciting design aspect of the new Daytona is the rear where horizontal slats go from wheel to wheel, creating an amazing visual that's honestly not expected from modern Ferraris. Inside, the driver and passenger will peer onto the road through a wraparound windscreen and they'll be resting in seats that are integrated into the chassis. Because the seats are fixed, the driver will have to adjust the pedal box to find the right spot. Ferrari's main focus with this interior was to create a "snug" experience that's inspired by competition cars, and it's obvious to see from the pictures in the gallery down below. The new Daytona SP3 is a perfect car for someone wanting to experience Ferrari's racing competition heritage in a modern setting. In regards to the delivery dates, production numbers, or price of the Ferrari Daytona SP3, that's currently unknown. But, we will keep you up to date when more information is released.
