Ferrari Celebrates Carbon Fiber With Special F1 Livery At...

Carbon fiber shines at this year’s Italian Grand Prix. Scuderia Ferrari is looking forward to one of the most important racing weekends on its Formula 1 calendar, the Italian Grand Prix. As Ferrari’s home race, the historic team is celebrating one of the most important materials to motorsport innovation: carbon fiber. The highly innovative material has been paramount to both speed and safety, and throughout Scuderia Ferrari’s presence at Monza, carbon fiber will take the spotlight. The material was invented in 1958, and was introduced to Scuderia Ferrari’s F1 cars in 1982, used to strengthen the 126 C2’s aluminum chassis. Since then, carbon fiber has gone on to define high-performance excellence, celebrated for its lightweight construction and strength for both race cars and roadgoing sports cars and supercars. At this year’s Italian Grand Prix, a special livery is adorning the Ferrari SF-24 race cars, with the racing numbers evoking the woven, reflective look of carbon fiber. Ferrari’s F1 drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, will wear helmets with exposed carbon fiber, and they will also sport race suits with a carbon fiber look, and a suite of accessories that evoke the unmistakable look of carbon fiber. With the impact of carbon fiber on the entire motorsport and automotive world, Ferrari is celebrating the legend of the incredible material at its home race in Monza. Legendary "Big Five" 1992 Ferrari F40 Listed For Sale

There’s no doubt that Ferrari is responsible for creating some of the world’s greatest supercars. Still, many Prancing Horse enthusiasts know that an elite group of Ferraris boasts an extra level of panache, being incredibly coveted by collectors as some of the most prized Ferraris in the history of the Prancing Horse. These cars are called the “Big Five,” and they chronicle much of Ferrari’s history as a supercar manufacturer. They are the 288 GTO, the F40, the F50, the Enzo, and the LaFerrari. View Price And Listing Available for sale now at Ferrari Lake Forest in Lake Bluff, Illinois, this 1992 Ferrari F40 for sale is one of the most exclusive Ferrari supercars on the market. It’s one of just 213 US-spec Ferrari F40 examples, and it’s one of just 60 in the 1992 specification. Finished with a Rosso Corsa exterior and a Stoffa Vigogno cloth interior, this 1992 Ferrari F40 for sale is the quintessential Ferrari and the perfect collector-grade addition to any luxury or exotic car garage. However, why is the Ferrari F40 so desirable? Its twin-turbocharged V8 engine was far ahead of its time, and the carbon fiber and lightweight construction that surrounded it made it, in its time, what was essentially an F1 race car built for the road. Its incredible performance is still incredibly impressive among supercars and high-performance cars today. Its powertrain would return in the form of cars like the Ferrari 488, Portofino, SF90 Stradale, Roma, and F8 in the modern age, and the F40 was famously also the last Ferrari that was ever personally approved by the legendary Enzo Ferrari before his death. The car received a Classiche certification in 2020 and recently underwent a thorough inspection and service by a Ferrari Lake Forest Master Technician. With under 10,000 miles on the odometer, it’s a beautifully preserved example of a milestone moment in Ferrari’s rich and respected history. If you want to get your hands on one of the most prized pieces of Ferrari pedigree in the manufacturer’s entire lineage of supercars, this 1992 Ferrari F40 for sale from Ferrari Lake Forest is a perfect and rare opportunity. Ferrari Increases Profit By 21% In Q2 2024

Ferrari has been celebrating success on the racetrack and financial growth. The second quarter of 2024 has been an exciting time for Ferrari. For the second year in a row, the Ferrari 499P Le Mans hypercar won the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race, achieving victory again after triumphantly returning to top-class endurance racing after a half-century hiatus. However, as a business, Ferrari has had plenty of other exciting developments in Q2 2024, announcing the quarter’s financial results today. Ferrari’s net revenues in the quarter increased by 16.2 percent compared to the same quarter of last year, and its total shipments increased by 2.7 percent compared to the previous year’s second quarter. Regarding profit, the quarter’s increase compared to last year is an incredibly impressive 21 percent. The quarter’s increase in deliveries is thanks to the various new models Ferrari has recently introduced. The Purosangue, Roma Spider, and 296 GTS led the charge, with exclusive models like the SF90 XX and 812 Competizione trailing behind. The Roma is approaching the end of its lifecycle, and the 812 GTS and SF90 Stradale are phased out. Ferrari also increased allocations for the exclusive Daytona SP3. When shipments are broken down by combustion versus hybrid cars, combustion cars remain the majority at a 52 percent to 48 percent ratio. However, electrification is a focus for the Prancing Horse, as the second quarter of 2024 saw the inauguration of Ferrari’s new e-building. The new facility features a flexible architecture that will support Ferrari's ability to manufacture combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles in the future. With its current financial success and more to come, Ferrari has lots to celebrate, with Q2 2024 in the books. View All Ferraris For Sale Image Source: Ferrari
