Mattioli Auto Group Opens Ferrari Pasadena in Southern California

Ferrari is adding another name to its growing U.S. dealer network with the opening of Ferrari Pasadena, which officially welcomed guests this past weekend. The grand opening brought together Ferrari clients, friends, and members of the local Ferrari community to check out the new facility and celebrate the latest addition to the brand's retail portfolio in the United States. A new Ferrari dealership is always worth a look, but Ferrari Pasadena is especially notable as the first location in the U.S. to introduce Ferrari’s latest corporate identity. Ferrari Pasadena is part of the Mattioli Auto Group, joining a dealer group that already has a significant Ferrari presence in Southern California. The group also operates Ferrari of Beverly Hills, Ferrari Westlake, and Ferrari of Los Angeles, giving it four Ferrari locations across the region. The new location gives Ferrari a chance to roll out its newest approach to the dealership experience, with a completely redesigned space. Instead of opening another showroom filled with new cars, the facility introduces a new design direction for how Ferrari presents itself to customers. Guests at the opening were able to explore the new space, meet the Ferrari Pasadena team, and check out a lineup of Ferraris that included everything from the all-new 849 Testarossa to some considerably more serious customer-owned cars. Naturally, there were a few cars on hand that made the opening worth a closer look. Among them was the new Ferrari 849 Testarossa, which made an appearance front and center, displayed on the showroom floor. That gave future owners the opportunity to see Ferrari's latest flagship alongside some of the cars already sitting in private collections. With Ferrari Pasadena now open, it gives local Ferrari owners and enthusiasts a new place to see what's next from Maranello, while keeping plenty of room for the cars already making their way into Southern California collections. $10M Tailor Made Ferrari LaFerrari Listed For Sale

Even as the automotive world continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries of design, technology, and performance, something truly special can come along and stand the test of time as a timeless treasure. That’s exactly what happened in the early to mid-2010s with the now-famous, highly desirable “Holy Trinity” of electrified hypercars: the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder, and Ferrari LaFerrari. And while each has earned its place in history, the LaFerrari remains one of the hottest commodities among collectors and enthusiasts, with performance that still holds up against today’s hypercars and a market value that continues to skyrocket past its original $1.7 million starting price.Offering the opportunity to own quite possibly one of the greatest hypercars ever made, the team at Kahn Automobiles is pleased to showcase this 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari as part of its extensive inventory of exotics for sale on duPont REGISTRY. Configured from the factory as an exclusive Tailor Made spec, this LaFerrari shies awau from Ferrari’s familiar shades, believed to be the only example finished in custom Nero BB. Adding some contrast to the stealthy spec are a set of lightwieght factory brush-finished forged wheels and massive red Brembo carbon ceramic brake calipers. Ferrari’s first hybrid hypercar features a sophisticated cabin that matches its exterior, with a full Nero leather interior. Inside, the LaFerrari keeps things focused on the driver, with a low-slung seating position, exposed carbon fiber, and a cockpit designed to feel more like a race car than a road-legal Ferrari. The steering wheel houses most of the key controls, while the minimalist dashboard keeps the focus on the road and the V12 screaming behind you.At the heart of the LaFerrari is a naturally aspirated 6.3L V12 producing 789 horsepower, paired with Ferrari’s HY-KERS hybrid system for a combined 950 horsepower. The electric motor adds instant torque while also helping fill in the gaps in the V12’s power delivery. Power is sent directly to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, helping it sprint from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and reach a top speed of more than 217 mph. Priced at $10,000,000 by Kahn Automobiles, this is someone’s lucky chance to acquire a very special Ferrari LaFerrari before its too late.  View Listing

The Ferrari 12Cilindri marks a new chapter for one of Ferrari’s most important staples. Ferrari 296 GT Modificata Unveiled as Track-Only Evolution of the 296 GT3 Evo

Ferrari has revealed the 296 GT Modificata, a track-only two-seater developed exclusively for its Club Competizioni GT program, at the Ferrari Racing Days event in Budapest, Hungary. The Modificata name traces back to the 512 M of 1970 and was later revived for the 488 GT Modificata and 499P Modificata. Although it retains the familiar proportions of the road-going 296, the Modificata is much closer in concept to the 296 GT3 Evo, which debuted at the start of the 2026 season. The GT3 Evo is a homologated competition car restricted by racing regulations and Balance of Performance, while the Modificata removes those constraints for non-competitive track use. Its rear-mid-mounted 2.9-liter, 120-degree V6 produces roughly 720 horsepower, which is about 128 horsepower more than the Balance of Performance-limited 296 GT3 Evo. Ferrari says that additional performance gives the Modificata the potential to lap Fiorano three seconds faster than its racing counterpart. Engine revisions focus on the crank train, camshafts, induction system, intercoolers and turbochargers. The turbos retain the GT3 Evo's exterior housings but use bespoke internals informed by the 499P Modificata. Ferrari also developed new tailpipes and revised ratios for the six-speed sequential gearbox with carbon clutch. Visually, the Modificata retains the basic proportions of the road-going 296, but almost everything around them has been reshaped for the circuit. Exposed carbon fiber dominates the slotted front splitter, rear wing and deep multi-channel diffuser, while center-lock wheels, Pirelli slicks and high-mounted twin exhaust outlets reinforce its GT3-derived character.  New ventilated steel front discs, revised cooling ducts and an additional lower-bumper intake improve brake thermal management. ABS is calibrated to make the car's performance accessible to drivers of varying skill levels. The same theme carries into the cockpit, with a digital display sitting behind a competition steering wheel, an extensive array of switchgear, exposed carbon fiber, racing harnesses and window nets. Unlike a conventional GT3 race car, however, the Modificata is configured for two. A revised roll bar makes room for a proper passenger bucket seat, dedicated footrest and integrated intercom, allowing an instructor to provide real-time coaching during timed sessions. Ferrari includes expanded data acquisition, onboard video, a rear camera and infrared tire-pressure and temperature monitoring. Buyers can also specify rear radar and personalized liveries. While Ferrari hasn’t revealed exact production numbers, it will be extremely limited, with the purchase including two years, or 12 rounds, of Club Competizioni GT. The 2027 calendar covers Jerez, Misano, Fuji, Indianapolis, Paul Ricard and Spa-Francorchamps, closing at the Finali Mondiali. View All Ferrari 296 for Sale Images: Ferrari

From Sketch to Sculpture: Ferrari Turns Supercar Design Into Art

Ever since Enzo Ferrari dreamed up the first 125 S in 1947, Ferraris have come to symbolize Italian craftsmanship and performance, values the brand continues to hold close at its home in Maranello. While the engine has always been at the heart of what makes a Ferrari a Ferrari, it’s the beauty of the body lines and styling that transforms these cars into rolling works of art, from the sharp, wedge-shaped silhouette of the F40 to the sweeping curves of the 812 Competizione. Ferrari is taking a different approach to art and the idea of a collectible car with Sketch Body, a project that puts the spotlight on how a Ferrari actually comes to life. Instead of focusing on the finished product, the project looks back to the earliest stage of the design process, the sketch. Created around Ferrari’s most beloved modern creations, the Sketch Body collection transforms actual body panels into pieces of automotive art, preserving the lines and ideas that helped shape the car in the first place. The artistic concept connects the supercar with the designer’s original vision, turning something that would normally live on a road-going supercar into a standalone design object.Overseeing the project is Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari’s longtime Chief Design Officer, whose sketches have helped define the look of modern Ferraris. Sketch Body essentially reverses the start-to-finish journey. Instead of a drawing disappearing underneath layers of metal and carbon fiber, the original artwork is brought back onto the surface of the car itself. Sketch Body also fits into Ferrari collectibles as a whole, following projects such as Components, Red Pieces, and Drivers’ Pieces. The appeal is an easy sell: Ferrari collectibles can commemorate racing history, famous drivers, or iconic mechanical details, but this project celebrates the creative thinking behind the car. By turning Ferrari bodywork into a three-dimensional canvas, the collection offers collectors a rare look at the space between the sketchpad and the production line. For anyone interested in Ferrari design, Italian craftsmanship, or automotive art, it’s a fresh reminder that a great car begins long before the engine starts. All Ferrari Inventory Source: Ferrari

The Most Expensive Ferraris Of All Time

Few automakers have shaped the supercar world quite like Ferrari. 485-Mile Tailor Made Ferrari 812 Competizione For Sale

Front-engine V12 Ferraris have always been a staple of the Italian marque, dating back to 1947 with the Ferrari 125 S. Since then, modern marvels like the 812 Superfast have continued that legacy, integrating brutal naturally aspirated performance into a rear-wheel-drive grand tourer. Taking things even a step further, Ferrari launched the 812 Competizione as an ultra-limited, track-focused finale to the beloved 812 series. The team at Ferrari of San Francisco is pleased to showcase this one-of-one 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione as part of its extensive inventory of supercars for sale on duPont REGISTRY. Already limited to just 999 examples worldwide, this particular 812 Competizione sets itself apart from the others, being one of the most extensively configured Ferrari Tailor Made builds. Under the owner’s complete creative control, they chose to shy away from the traditional colors of the Maranello manufacturer, opting for an incredible Double Barrel Red finish with tons of metallic flake that shimmers and shifts in the sunlight. Exposed gloss carbon and Argento Nurburgring accents contrast against the paint, along with 20-inch forged diamond wheels and matching Argento Nurburgring brake calipers.Inside, the cabin carries over a similar theme. The Extrarange interior features a Nero Alcantara base with special trim and contrast stitching that mirrors the Double Barrel Red shade, found on the dashboard and door pulls. The two-piece Nero carbon bucket seats tie together the entire spec, with silver Alcantara and red fabric seat inserts, and Argento Chiaro embroidered Cavallinos in the headrests. The dedication plaque reading "Specially Crafted with Ferrari for MJR" is a reminder that this 812 Competizione was clearly commissioned with intent rather than assembled from a standard option list.Under the hood lies Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 6.5L V12, sending 819 horsepower to the rear wheels and screaming to its 9,500 rpm redline. That power is managed through a quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, sprinting from 0 to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds, with an overall top speed of 211mph. Showing just 485 miles on the odometer, this 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione is now for sale on duPont REGISTRY for $3,599,999. View Listing

Is Ferrari Testing a New F80XX Hypercar?

Since its start, with Enzo behind the wheel, Ferrari has always envisioned its cars with purpose and true intent in mind, whether it be an expertly engineered endurance car for the track or a luxurious grand tourer for countryside cruises. It’s that constant connection between both worlds that has helped give the Maranello marque its reputation and recognition, while also creating opportunities to bridge the gap through exceptional supercars and hypercars like the Ferrari F80. And while most of us are still enjoying the first moments of the F80, with production and deliveries in motion, it seems as though Ferrari is already finding ways to evolve its golden child. Circulating around the automotive world are spyshots and video of what looks to be a possible Ferrari F80XX prototype, originally captured by a Reddit user (@Signal-Duck3305) and shared by one of our favorite automotive content creators, Varryx. With its Le Mans-winning 499P-derived twin-turbo V6, the Ferrari F80 is already a race-bred, road-legal hypercar, leaving you to wonder just how much further its engineers can push it before crossing into full-blown race car territory. From the on-track spy shots, the most noticeable upgrade, left completely uncovered by OEM camouflage, is a massive fixed carbon-fiber rear wing. The F80 prototype is undoubtedly logging laps in Portimao as part of its ongoing testing and development, so it may be some time before Ferrari officially confirms exactly what we’re looking at. But if this does turn out to be the new Ferrari F80XX, it would become the second XX model, alongside the SF90XX, to bring the brand’s coveted XX Programme from the track to the road. As we continue to keep our eyes and ears open for more information on this mysterious F80, stay tuned into duPont REGISTRY for all the latest news.
