The engine bay comes littered with matching carbon fiber trim, Shelby American and Super Snake decals, and Carroll Shelby’s iconic signature. Power is sent through a quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering sharp, immediate gear changes. 0–60 mph happens in the low 3-second range, with a top speed pushing past 180 mph. View Price And Listing Alongside the fact that this Ford GT only shows three delivery miles on the odometer since it first rolled off the production line, it also stands out as a fully optioned spec from the factory. Back when customers were still configuring Ford GTs in the early 2000s, Ford only offered four factory options to choose from, including a Mactinosh Sound System, Racing Stripes, Red-Painted Calipers, and lightweight BBS wheels. And while you're probably thinking that every owner opted for all the available upgrades, a select few GT chassis actually feature all four. This specific example comes finished in a classic shade of red with bright white racing stripes and decals. $450K 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 For Sale

The Boss 429 remains one of the most sought-after Mustangs ever produced, and this example stands out as one of the best. The Ford Mustang has and will forever remain an American icon in the automotive world, cementing a legacy in history after its first public debut at the New York World's Fair on April 17, 1964. Since then, every generation of Mustang has grown to be collected and enjoyed by a worldwide community of passionate owners and enthusiasts dedicated to preserving Ford's dream. The team of professionals at Park Place Ltd. of Bellvue, Washington, is proud to showcase this immaculate 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 as part of its inventory of high-line classics and exotics for sale on duPont REGISTRY. View Monthly Payment This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is one of just 859 examples built that year and the only one sold through Bickford Ford in Snohomish, WA. Finished in Black Jade, the car was discovered as a barn find in Stanwood, WA, and meticulously restored by Mustang Boss expert Mark Bedney at Kevin's Klassic Cars. From the exterior, the Boss 429s didn't look drastically different from standard Mustang Fastbacks of the era, with key distinctions being the large Ram Air hood scoop, lower front spoiler, and a subtle fender graphic stating "Boss 429." This particular example is one of 162 finished in Black Jade and features 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in period-correct Goodyear Polyglas tires. Restored to #1 show quality, it won a gold award at the 2020 National Mustang Club Concours in Tucson, AZ, and is expected to continue earning awards at muscle car shows across the country. The interior of this Boss 429 was optioned from the factory with the Deluxe Interior Decor Group, which includes "Comfortweave" high-back vinyl bucket seats, a floor console, and wood appliqué on the dash and center console. A 3-spoke wood-rim steering wheel with a center blow horn frames a set of deeply hooded gauges, with an analog clock situated in front of the passenger. The Mustang's interior is one of the more appealing among American performance cars of this era, especially with the upgraded interior package. The interior was restored to its original factory condition and remains in show-quality form, mirroring the high standards set throughout the vehicle. What truly sets this Mustang apart from other 1969 fastbacks is the 429ci V8 engine under the hood. Based on Ford's 385 family of big blocks, this engine features hemispherical pistons, forged internals, and, for 1969, hydraulic lifters. It also includes an auxiliary oil cooler and a manually controllable Ram-Air hood scoop for optimal airflow. The engine's large cylinder heads required Ford's skunkworks department, Kar Kraft, to make various modifications, such as relocating the battery to the trunk and altering the front fenders. Ford rated these engines at 375 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, which period dyno tests confirmed. Power is transmitted through a heavy-duty close-ratio 4-speed manual to the rear wheels via a 3.91 Traction-Lok rear axle. The suspension was upgraded with staggered shocks, front and rear sway bars, and heavy-duty springs and shocks to handle the extra front weight. This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 from Park Place Ltd. is now available on duPont REGISTRY by clicking the link below. View Monthly Payment
