Lamborghini Recaps The Evolution Of The Huracán

Lamborghini’s V10 icon is exiting the lineup with fanfare. The Lamborghini Huracán is being retired, and it’s due to be replaced by a hybrid model that is set to break cover soon. After a decade serving as Lamborghini’s entry-level supercar, the fanfare it’s exiting with is well-deserved. It was at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show where the Huracán was first revealed, and in the 10 years that have passed, it’s shown off an incredible versatility that few other supercars have been able to compare to, pushing boundaries and exemplifying excellence when it comes to what a supercar can do. The original Huracán model, the 2014 Huracán LP 610-4 combined Lamborghini’s compelling V10 power with carbon ceramic brakes and a dual-clutch transmission, along with MagneRide shock absorbers, and a digital display on the dashboard, combining high-tech innovation with supercar soul. After that came the Spyder variant in 2015, and the LP 580-2 in 2016, which featured engaging rear-wheel drive. The Huracán Performante was also introduced in 2016, and it featured racing-oriented performance tweaks like the ALA system which provided incredible performance-oriented aerodynamics. It became the fastest super sports car to lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife in its time, and the Performante Spyder was revealed in 2017. Revamping the Huracán was the EVO model, revealed in 2019, improving performance, aerodynamics, and adding features like all-wheel steering and Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics. The Huracán EVO Spyder was revealed in 2019 as well. The fun, driftable version of the EVO was revealed in 2020, the Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD, which also had a complementing Spyder model. 2021 saw the introduction of the ruthlessly performance-focused STO, based on the Super Trofeo race car and built with the track primarily in mind. Immense power and rear-wheel drive make it something truly special. In addition, it features the first use of F1-inspired brakes, codeveloped with Brembo, on a road car. The Huracán Tecnica, introduced in 2022, combined the STO’s power and performance with the EVO’s comfort, everyday usability, and style, and it came with a unique design that sets it apart and also enhances aerodynamic performance. The final Lamborghini Huracán model is the Sterrato, which brought to fruition the idea of a zany concept and took the Huracán off the beaten track, raising its suspension, increasing the size of the tires, and doing various other upgrades to imbue it with off-road capability, showing off the Huracán in an environment where very few other supercars can approach. Special editions of the Huracán added exclusivity, like the 2019 EVO GT Celebration and the 2023 60th Anniversary model, and the 2024 Huracán STJ served as the glorious and ultra-exclusive send-off for the Huracán, limited to just 10 examples and showing off the model’s incredible performance excellence. As the Huracán exits from Lamborghini’s lineup, its hybrid successor has very big shoes to fill. View All Lamborghini Huracáns For Sale Image Source: Lamborghini

Lamborghini Reveals 1-of-12 Huracán Sterrato Ad Personam ...

Lamborghini’s off-road supercar goes bespoke. The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato presented a novel and unorthodox idea to the supercar world, taking a mid-engined V10-powered performance machine, and reworking it to boast incredible off-road capability, creating unprecedented thrilling adventures. Now, Lamborghini is showing off its Ad Personam division’s bespoke ability with a new exclusive version of the Sterrato, with bespoke configurations and head-turning uniqueness. The new exclusive series of 12 cars was first revealed at Milan Design Week, and each features an exclusive livery that was created in collaboration between Lamborghini Ad Personam and Lamborghini Centro Stile, with the inspiration being the four terrains that the Huracán Sterrato has the ability to take on unlike most other supercars: snow, sand, off-beat tracks, and the desert. The four different matte camouflage paint liveries are named after their respective environments: Neve for snow, Sabbia for sand, Bosco for the forest, and Terra for gravel. Inside, Ad Personam lent bespoke touches to the interior as well, in the form of carbon fiber and dark chrome trim, laser-etched Sterrato graphics, and an Ad Personam plaque that denotes the special edition. The 12 cars are already sold to clients worldwide, and the exclusive 12-car series is included in the rare 1,499-car production run that the Huracán Sterrato is seeing. With supercar style and performance, off-road ability, and now exclusive bespoke craftsmanship, the Huracán Sterrato is one of the most versatile supercars created. The Lamborghini Huracán Range Embarks On An "Ultimate Dri...

The full Lamborghini Huracán range exits with fanfare. Even after 10 years in production, the Lamborghini Huracán is still unique compared to the overwhelming majority of supercars in the world. However, it’s finally time for it to bow out after its 2024 production, and what it will give way to is a new hybrid supercar. Being the beginning of the end for the Lamborghini Huracán, Lamborghini brought the entire current range of the V10 supercar on an “ultimate drive” to put a bow on it at the beginning of its final year of production. The range includes the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder, STO, Tecnica, and Sterrato, and the drive took place from Bologna to Forte dei Marmi in Italy, along the beautiful Tuscan-Emilian Apennine roads. Landmarks like the Palazzo di Varignana, Villa Campestri, the Valsora white marble quarry, and experiences like a dinner on the Royal Train and a dinner with Andrea Bocelli at his home, Villa Alpebella. However, the star of the show was, of course, the Lamborghini Huracán, with its wide range that shows off V10 supercar performance in a variety of different characters, from the open-top EVO Spyder, to the track-focused and uncompromising STO, to the stylish and powerful Tecnica and the off-road capable Sterrato. With such a versatile character, instantly recognizable style, and world-class performance in various realms, the Lamborghini Huracán will surely be cemented in Lamborghini’s history as one of its greatest achievements. The New Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Stars In Lamborghini'...

Lamborghini’s new supercar helps tell a heartwarming story. Even though it was only revealed this year, the new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is quite a celebrated and attractive addition to the Huracan lineup, which combines the Huracan’s striking style and everyday luxury and comfort with the formidable power of the more track-focused and ruthless Huracan STO that has wowed enthusiasts all over the world with its incredible performance. The new Huracan Tecnica is the star of this year’s Holiday video from Lamborghini, as it uses its undeniable style to act as an influencer of sorts. MUST READ: Why You Should Buy A Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae In the video, a young man sees that a barbershop he visited frequently as a child is closing, and chooses to use social media to take a picture with the Huracan and the barbershop in the background and post it. As a result, throngs of people like him flock to the Huracan Tecnica parked outside, and visit the barbershop, and eventually, he does, as well. At the end of the day, the barbershop no longer needs to close. Lamborghini says that the message of the video is that the future cannot exist without the past, and as it spent the past year honoring and celebrating its history as it closes a very long chapter of “pure” naturally aspirated V12 and V10-powered supercars to open a new one, the same goes for the Lamborghini brand. As the year comes to a close, Lamborghini wishes us car enthusiasts a happy Huracan holiday. View All Lamborghini Huracans For Sale Source: Lamborghini

New Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Teaser Shows Off-Road Su...

An off-road Lamborghini supercar is exactly what the Italian automaker's lineup needs. Out of the blue, a new teaser for the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato has dropped on YouTube and I couldn't be happier. In this teaser, we see the off-road Lamborghini taking part in a dirt road race against a mountain biker. This allows the Sterrato to show off its off-road and rallying capabilities. With larger tires, plenty of suspension, roof racks, and even some added LED rally lights up front, the Huracan Sterrato somehow looks at home when sliding sideways around dirt roads. Not to say that it's a bit shocking to see a Lamborghini supercar in the shape of a Huracan getting sideways and dirty on off-road roads. However, will the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato be produced? That's completely up in the air right now, but this teaser video brings the world closer to saying "more than likely." Then again, this could just be a teaser for a one-off car or even for an off-road series that revolves around the model. This is still all conjecture and we have no official word from Lamborghini. Also Read: Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD Spyder Review: Proper Supercar Theatrics What we do know is that the original Huracan Sterrato would be powered by the 5.2-liter V10 engine that is found in the Huracan EVO. That would allow this off-road Lamborghini to be capable of producing 640 horsepower. Unlike the standard Huracan EVO, this new variant sees its ground clearance increased by 1.85-inches and wheel track by 1.18-inches. This allows the Sterrato to be equipped with 20-inch wheels with off-road tires. Be sure to stay with us for more information regarding the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato as it's released. Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Revealed: A Bridge Between th...

A new Lamborghini to fall in love with. It's time the world is introduced to the new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, a new model that sits right in between the EVO and STO. The new Huracan Tecnica is a perfect choice for those wanting a track-ready Lamborghini, but aren't willing to sacrifice comfort on the road. Even though the new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica may sit between the two variants, the supercar still utilizes the STO's 5.2-liter V10 engine. This means the Tecnica can deliver 630 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque through its seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. All of that power is then sent to the rear wheels for an exciting drive. Lamborghini notes that the Huracan Tecnica will have a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of around 202 mph. VIDEO REVIEW: Lamborghini Huracan STO What's more, the new Huracan's engine, traction control, rear-wheel steering and various other systems will behave differently depending on which mode of the “Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata” system is selected. First, there's "STRADA," which offers up a more daily driving experience. From there, the LDVI system moves up to "SPORT" mode where a more exciting and fun drive can be offered through manipulation of the rear-wheel steering, traction control, torque vectoring, and gearbox systems. Last, but not least, there's "CORSA" mode where the Huracan Tecnica is completely adjusted for precise drives on the track. Of course, we have to discuss the new design cues of the Huracan Tecnica. The most notable changes have to be the new front end and that rear wing. These new features aren't just for show, however. That fixed rear wing in the back adds 35 percent more rear downforce when compared to the Huracan EVO RWD. Right below the rear wing are the visually pleasing hexagonal exhaust pipes. As for the new front end, there's a lot to take in. A new front splitter, carbon fiber hood, and bumper can all be found on the Huracan Tecnica's new face. The standout has to be the Ypsilon design that was borrowed from the Terzo MIllennio which gives the Huracan an air curtain for the very first time. " width="680"> Inside the new Lamborghini is a cabin built for the driver, and that means comfort is included. One update that man current Huracan owners will appreciate is the improved visibility out of the new vertical rear glass window. There are also the height-adjustable seats, and redesigned HMI interface where entertainment can be selected and navigation can be viewed. The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica's price and availability have yet to be unveiled but stay with us for more information as it's revealed. View All Lamborghinis For Sale Source: Lamborghini

Jay Leno Test Drives the Lamborghini Huracan STO

Jay takes a spirited drive through the canyons of California. Since Lamborghini first came into the world, Jay Leno has been following the automaker and has been a huge fan. In fact, Jay Leno's car collection consists of quite a few Lamborghinis, including the prized Miura. For the latest edition of Jay Leno's Garage, CEO of Lamborghini America Andrea Baldi stopped by to show off the extreme Huracan STO. In the Lamborghini Huracan historical lineup, in terms of power, the STO sits right around where the Huracan Performante is. The Huracan STO, however, is a much more track-ready supercar that borrows many features from the Huracan GT3 and Huracan Super Trofeo. In this episode of Jay Leno's Garage, found up above, the two go over just about every detail of the Italian supercar. At first, the two discuss the aerodynamics of the Huracan STO and even the fact that 75 percent of the body is comprised of carbon fiber. Andrea Baldi also points out specific aerodynamic features like the shark fin and hood scoop. From there, they go on to discuss the Huracan STO's powerful 5.2-liter V10 engine and then, ultimately, take it out for a drive. Check it out for yourself in the video up above and see what's for sale on duPontREGISTRY.com by clicking the button below. View All Huracan STOs For Sale

Lamborghini Huracan Blown Up For NFTs

The artist selected 999 pieces of the vehicle that will be turned into NFTs. The artist known as SHL0MS has come up with quite the project for the sake of NFTs and it involves an exploding supercar. SHL0MS decided to take a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan, loaded it up with explosives, and blew it up. Why? To create 999 pieces of the exploded Lamborghini that will then be turned into individual NFTs. Each of the 999 pieces will be recorded in their own 4K video and offered up as an NFT with the auction for them starting on February 25th. As for the auction itself, it's being called the $CAR auction as each of the pieces will be called a $CAR. Those who happen to bid or even win one of the NFTs should know that the proceeds from the auction will fund more artistic installations. So, while many may think NFTs projects are all about making a quick buck, at least know this one is going towards even more art. I will note that it's always nice to see an art project that's off the wall, and this one fits the bill considering they blew up a car. And while NFTs may not be for everyone, you can at least appreciate the time and effort involved in this one. I mean, SHL0MS had to not only buy a car but also hire an explosives expert to blow it up, find 999 pieces in the blast radius, then film each one, and then mint them. See All Lamborghinis For Sale

Lamborghini Huracan STO Configurator is Live: Design Your...

After a new model is launched by any manufacturer, a configurator will follow shortly. If you don't know what a configurator is, you're missing out on a good time. These configurators allow you to spend some time customizing the car of your dreams. Now that the Lamborghini Huracan STO has been revealed, a configurator has inevitably been pushed onto Lamborghini's website. This configurator contains a ton of different options to go through, including colors, trim, and more. I managed to create a mean and venomous looking Huracan STO that has a Viola Nebula paint finish that has a contrasting Verde Selvans livery and sticker pack. This exterior is combined with a black and Verde Fauns interiors. Honestly, I love it but I should considering the amount of time I took deciding on the color combination.
