Lamborghini Huracan STO Configurator is Live: Design Your...

After a new model is launched by any manufacturer, a configurator will follow shortly. If you don't know what a configurator is, you're missing out on a good time. These configurators allow you to spend some time customizing the car of your dreams. Now that the Lamborghini Huracan STO has been revealed, a configurator has inevitably been pushed onto Lamborghini's website. This configurator contains a ton of different options to go through, including colors, trim, and more. I managed to create a mean and venomous looking Huracan STO that has a Viola Nebula paint finish that has a contrasting Verde Selvans livery and sticker pack. This exterior is combined with a black and Verde Fauns interiors. Honestly, I love it but I should considering the amount of time I took deciding on the color combination. RWD Battle: Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 vs Porsche GT3 RS

Porsche and Lamborghini are both subsidiaries of Volkswagen, but that is all these two have in common. We have seen recent footage proving that the GT3 RS is capable of embarrassing many, including Nissan's GT-R. Our friends at GTBOARD.com had a suspicion that Porsche's latest creation might be able to take on a rear-wheel drive Huracan, so in order to make sure it was a fair fight, they chose another rear-wheel drive example. The Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 has 580 cv (metric horsepower) and 397 lb-ft of torque from a mid-mounted 5.2L V10. In the most powerful naturally aspirated engine they have ever produced, Porsche's 911 GT3 RS is rated at 500 hp and 338 lb-ft from a rear mounted 4.0L flat-six. Huracan's power equates to 571 hp, so will that be enough to end the GT3's winning streak?Huracan For Sale GT3 RS For Sale

Lamborghini Huracán All-Wheel-Drive System Tested

Supercars and snow don't normally mix. If you have had your fill of slippery situations, Lamborghini has a solution for you: the Huracan. In a video uploaded to their YouTube page today, Lamborghini uses low traction situations to demonstrate the abilities of their all-wheel-drive system. The beauty is in the complete computer control of the torque sent to each wheel. This is achieved by having electronic control of all three differentials.(See Also: Lamborghini Hires a Record of Nearly 200 Employees in 2014)The center differential is bolted to the transmission and divides power front to rear. Borg-Warner designed the unit specifically for the Huracan and it is going to change how all-wheel-drive cars are controlled. It uses a multi-plate wet clutch that can send 100 percent of the power to the front or rear, and instantly change the ratio in response to how much grip is sensed at the ground.Watch the video and you can see how the system rations power to make sure the Huracan dominates the snow.View Lamborghini Huracans For Sale(Source: Lamborghini) See More Lamborghini News
