All-Electric Jaguar Vision GT Coupe Revealed

Jaguar has just revealed their all-new, all-electric Vision GT Coupe. This is the first time the English automaker has created a virtual all-electric sports car. So, when will we be able to see this car in real life? Never, most likely. Jaguar designed this car specifically for the Gran Turismo Sport video game. The inspiration for the Vision GT Coupe came from the classic C-type and D-type race cars. Unlike those iconic cars, this car is jampacked with as much technology as possible. As for its propulsion, it relies on three electric motors that produce 1006 horsepower. This kind of power can propel the virtual car from 0 to 62 mph in less than two seconds. Inside the car, the driver can take advantage of an augmented reality digital ide glass that can highlight danger and obstacles. Gamers can take this car out for a spin in the end of November in the Gran Turismo Sport game for Playstation 4. see all jaguars for sale

Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Beat its own 'Ring Record

There is always room for improvement at Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations. As we have learned in their latest press release, engineers fitted their fastest sedan with a new Track Pack. This removes the rear seats and adds a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. Armed with these improvements, the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 beat its own 'Ring record. Back in November of 2017, they were able to set a sedan record time of 7 minutes, 21.23 seconds. Development driver Vincent Radermecker dropped the car into track mode. This lowers and firms the suspension in preparation to attack the Nordschleife. Adjustable aerodynamics front and rear were set for maximum downforce, and the fastest run of the day was a blistering 7 minutes 18.361 seconds. Jaguar XE SV Smashes Laguna Seca Record This is only a hair slower than the latest Porsche 911 GT3, and a fraction faster than a 2012 Corvette ZR1. To celebrate this achievement, Jaguar is building 15 examples for the world and each one is capable of 186 mph. Pricing starts at (£149,995), or $187,314. Jaguar and Land Rover Owners Will Be Able to Earn Cryptoc...

There are many ways to earn money while you drive, but this new way from Jaguar Land Rover is quite unique. The English automaker has introduced their new "Smart Wallet" technology, allowing drivers to earn cryptocurrency while they drive. Yes, I'm serious. According to Jaguar Land Rover, drivers will be able to earn credits if they share information about potholes, traffic jams and more. Well, the car will actually be doing the reporting automatically to navigation providers or local authorities. Currency earned can be rewarded for things like coffee, pay toll change, parking fees, and more. For the currency itself, Jaguar Land Rover teamed up with the IOTA Foundation. Through their distributed ledger tech, the payments require no transaction fees and they say that over time the transactions will get faster as it grows to a predicted 75 billion connected devices by 2025. Currently, the tech is just being tested but it looks quite promising. I could definitely do without having to dig for change when I come up to a pay toll. see all jaguars for sale Also Check Out: Jaguar Unveils F-Type Rally Cars For 70th Anniversary Jaguar F-Type SVR vs Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon New Infotainment from Jaguar Land Rover Classic

Evolution E-Types: Rebirth of a Legend

If you have the means to purchase a classic Jaguar E-Type, you must accept its quirks. The design is timeless, but the components and engineering were somewhat dated when they launched in 1961. The Evolution E-Type looks to bring the classic into the modern era. This allowed Uryk Dmyterko to make a name for himself. Known across the globe as the E-Type expert, his business grew from basic restorations into manufacturing the parts needed for a frame-off rebuild. The original Jaguar subframe & monocoque is flimsy by modern standards. So they started over with high strength steel. Every weld is gusseted before the entire assembly is acid dipped and treated to an epoxy primer. The enclosed spaces are coated in cavity wax for years of rust-free cruising. Now with a strong foundation, their attention turned to the engine. The straight six now has forged internals that are stronger and much lighter than the originals. A modern electronic fuel injection system has nearly doubled the torque output. This made them address the transmission's weak points. Their new aluminum 5-speed has triple synchros and a deep overdrive for the highway. Rusty body panels prompted Uryk to remake them in aluminum, using traditional methods in lieu of modern machine tools. He and his team realized they had almost every part needed to restore an E-Type, so they took a leap of faith. In a press release this morning, we learned that Evolution E-Types will be showing their all-new cars February 14th to 17th at London Excel. The rebirth of this legendary car is reason to celebrate, so perhaps it is time to experience one for yourself. Jaguar Smashes Electric Speedboat World Record

Usually, water and electricity don't mix. That is why the speed record for electric boats has stayed at 76.8 mph for a long time. So Jaguar decided to show off their dedication to Formula E racing by installing the battery from their race car. The powertrain is a collaboration between Jaguar Vector Racing and Williams Advanced Engineering.2019 Jaguar I-Pace Revealed: First Electric Jag SUVTurning to a veteran of speedboat racing, Peter Dredge is the pilot and Technical Director of the project. This sleek outboard powerboat might look calm at an idle, but we don't recommend tossing a Jaguar into a lake and not expect some intense protest by the big cat. The team decided to go for the record at Coniston Water in Cumbria. This lake is 5 miles long and mostly surrounded by hills. It makes for a perfect spot for a record-breaking attempt. After a few shakedowns, Peter was clocked at a 2-way average speed of 88.6 mph. The future of electric boating looks bright, so stay with us for all your Jaguar updates.Browse Jaguar For Sale

Jaguar Paints F-PACE in a Mesmerizing Way

Jaguar has celebrated the success of the F-PACE SUV in an absolutely mesmerizing manner. In a film called Blacklight, Jaguar covered the award-winning SUV in thousands of paint droplets and water. Then massive fans were turned on to force the paint across the sensuous curves of the F-PACE, resulting in a beautiful piece of automotive art.In the Driver's Seat: 2017 Jaguar F-PACE S Review"We set out to break the mold with our first performance SUV and everyone at Jaguar is thrilled with how well the F-PACE design has been received around the world," says Ian Callum, Director of Design at Jaguar. "After winning 70 awards we wanted to create a film that reflects both its critically acclaimed design and the engineering that underpins everything we do at Jaguar.
